Some say the purpose of this is to mark the minimum recommended speed to upshift to 3rd & 4th gear in the manual shiftronic mode (or is it also known as steptronic?). It sounds logical though because if we upshift too early, we might strain the engine. Last time i've try to upshift manually to 3rd gear at speed below 30km/h & the gear wont upshift. Tried it again at speed just above 30km/h, the gear upshift without any hesitation. However, this possibly apply to the 4-speed Forte i believe.

Hi, i just get my Forte 1.6SX tinted few days ago. Today just try to wind down my back seat windows, I noticed both back windows only can wind down 2/3. Kind of weird. Before that i never try to wind down before. Is it normal?? Or something when wrong when i go tinted? Please help.  I'm a worry owner...LOL...

btw, overall quite satisfy with the car. FC is good on highway, but bit pain when jam n lots of traffic light. Stil can get an average of 8-10 L/100km

When my car is not moving by pressing the brake, I can hear the sound "tak tak tak" coming out (gear D or R), is this normal? o.O

by the way....when i driving in highway speed like 120-150

its freaking noisy....can hear the sound of the tyre....

Been reading this Forte forum for quite awhile now. Proud to be a owner of this car.

Since driving this Forte the passed 1 week or so, the stock tires are still slippery IMO. Noise level from the tires are bad. Maybe in the next few weeks or so, might want to consider touching up with some insulation.

I do have the inconsistent left-pulling issue but not a biggie for me.

Anyhow, I'm planning to get the Sharp Plasmacluster Ion as well. There one I saw in 1U SenQ priced around RM499.

Hi Bro, how much to change to 4 new quiet tyres without any trade in ? I plan to change the stock tyres after it 'botok" cos budget constrain.

Even on dry weather road condition, I don't feel it grips properly. Especially around corners, it just slippery. Because I like to corner alot in high speeds. Kinda hard to explain, but it could be the tires are still new? 

read from myforte fb, some bro shared that our ckd rim is suppose to be 14kg from jrd, 10.5kg is original korea.

Using Silverstone.. ? even u change ur brake pads for better stopping power, your stock tires lagi cannot grip on the tarmac and slips/skids even more easily  eventhough ABS and BA system kicks in which makes the system harder to control the tire grip..

better grip and quality tires makes the safety stopping and traction feature ABS, BA, ESP does their work more effectively..

you have to judge yourself not to applied the brakes too hard to avoid slipping tires. Difficult to predict sometimes Brake Assist helps you boost on brakes, and u will heard "keeek" sound, a sign of loosing road traction n causing stopping distance more further. Well based on your mentioned situation, the vehicle in front tires burst but it is forward moving objects so u could still have time to make wise decision to control your car n high chances of successfully escape from any trouble n accident. Imagine if you're in a residential area at 40kmph a dog or worse of all a child running across the road in front of u within just a meter distance from your car.. ?

Beside of Silverstone, any other brand that you suggest ?

does anybody here having rattling dashboard issue? mine sometimes just fine but sometimes i can hear something like loosen plastic materials maybe from the center meter console or air cond ventilation... not sure where it comes from

is it a good idea to claim warranty for this issue? last week i called Kia SC Setapak because i wanted to set appointment and claim warranty for my foggy left headlights but still no follow up from them when i can come there. i already gave my plat no., my contact numbers, description etc to them.

can't blame them now because sometimes i myself drive 140 - 160kmph too. forte is just too stable and heavy. 100kmph feel so slow i hope i can calm little bit and obey the speed limits asap

driving 160 that time night not much car on fast lane. ,at that speed  still cant chase camry, one by one camry pass by.

i try go to 170 -180, whole car like wan flying, feeli like the tyre not on the ground, after few sec trying, scare liao.
