Do you have sun visor ? Was told it was caused by it if you have installed....rattling they will remove the part and bubur with foam or double sided tape alike stuff...
*
Sun visor or door visor?
My wind screen got 7 inches sun visor, installed together with the tinted.
My car does not have door visor.
So I still wondering where is the sound come from?
SC Said can try put more glue on the wind screen if it's due to air leak. But the procedure need to leave my car there for 1-2 days and not sure whether the sound I heard is due to thats

yes.. Vios also can bungkus already..
try put Vios and Rio spec list side to side and compare.. none others in it's class has bluetooth audio integrated, DRL headlamp, sunroof, 6 airbags, push start with keyless entry (except Almera) and auto A/C (except Almera also)

The thing is with a RIO, you can feel this is not a cut-budget car...memang the price is 'cheap' but the interior doesn't say so...sorry to say, whenever i step into the almera or vios, all i can feel is cost-cutting is everywhere and profit is all they care...prime time for korean marques...i just really hope the RV will be good this time...if it does hold true for the current forte...then the Korean's have made it big this time ...in the past 10 years or so...

2.0T was just a concept and never in real product. Again we don't have native 2.4 Theta II here..if yes would be FUN  rclxms.gif  and all 2.0 owner will be diam diam kekeke...
*

Most car reviewers in every car reviews Angmoh saying 2.4 Theta II N/A Forte got the best acceleration in its class (bread and butter C segment)..

if really have 2.4 Forte in Boleh-land I will consider it over 2.0 anytime and by then no 1.6 liter will be selling here because of irrelevant product spec line-up n marketing strategy. Hence, not much people will buy Forte including Mr. g88 because of EXPENSIVE ROADTAX and HIGH FC unlike nowadays 1.6SX flooding everywhere in Malaysia for it's value for money features rich C Segment with B segment price.. rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

sunroof yes of course. also might have illumination light at each front door shines on door and road from the bottom side mirrors upon driver approaching to vehicle which only high end cars like current high spec beemer 5 and 7 series has..

and yes dual zone A/C with rear passengers air vents too.. colour screen info like found in K5..

test drive liao luuu.. steering feedback precise and road grip is excellent for "cheap" B segment.. only negative is engine is slow to respond when pick-up after corner turning at traffic light junctions.. something like current new Swift punya power except Rio's 1.4 unit is refined and pleasantly quiet at low revs driving..

overall it's a very comfortable car ride for passengers also for driver.. rear seats has proper whole body support unlike shorter and undersized seats found in City, Vios, Mazda2, Fiesta etc.. the only B segment which I never encountered any claustrophobic for 1 hour journey drive to Genting on Chor 9 CNY..

Force induction = replacement for displacement? no?... tongue.gif

Forced induction is almost similar to displacement, only on the surface. Essentially, displacement is still the answer to a sustained top speed.
It all depends on what an individual wants out of his/her ride smile.gif

After 6 months owning this car, I found ada dua lubang like ekzos lubang kat bawah front seat. Kiri pun ada.. kanan pun ada. What are these?

And my engine noise still there after I changed from BHP to Caltex... The noise like coming from under the air con, or gear box. Really sad sad.gif
The noise only started after 5-10mins drive. Anyone know.. please help.
*
Those are Air-Cond ducts if I correctly assume that you are referring to them. smile.gif

Strange noise coming from your engine?
Better get it checked out by a trusty mechanic or send it to the SC (go to SCs which have the tools to run a software diagnosis on your car) for a diagnosis. It could be compression issue. Hopefully it'll turn out to be something minor.

See, its not only me that talk about tarak having/reading user manual....
If you cannot take it, TELL THEM and get an satisfy answer since you are the OWNER of the CAR, Don't tell me you going to go around DIFFERENT SC if every SC also tell you 'its normal' and you just diam and walk off ??

Bro g88..don't la kutuk bennedict82 like that.
Everyone is learning together mah. Some start learning early (like you), some start learning late.
We should give credit to all whom made the effort to learn and share their experiences/wisdom.
Sometimes, we give and take..even when the question may seem simple an dumb to some, it could be something which another person had never thought of. Different people sees something from different perspectives/angles.

In any case, I hope to be able to meet you guys for TT soon. Wanna see and gain some ideas on racuns/mods.
PEACE!

To be frank all forte facing the noisy sound problem but why the Naza or Kia HQ do not do anything ?
Still got so many buyers ? Really sick of the sound and need to spend some money to do this and that to get away the noise. The car still get the defect although it is fund to drive and the noise will kill us in long run. The NV wil lbe droping if this is not settle.
Can we as consumers jointly write in to request Naza M'sai or Kia Korea to look into this and settle for us .
I think with all together we have the right ?? This is my just comment .TQ

Not all Forte have the issue you referring to....possibility noise that you mentioned either from bearing or valve tappet.
Current Forte going to be phase out soon after in the market for more than 3 years (Let's face the fact)...thats why they are replacing it with K3.

Korean mindset is like that...same work for Samsung...else u won't see tonnes of TV and phone model.....

No parts has been changed to date even for wiper blade..lolz. (wear & tear serviceable parts like spark plug, v belt etc surely excluded la). All still in original condition. I only downgrade my rims & change to DVD/GPS HU..which is of course not due to problem/malfunction.
