i applied at 26 July and get called at 30 July, everything seems fast. Then i called CS to check card application status at 1 Aug, the system replied that my cards application is approved! But until now no SMS to me about the card is sending to me 

All in Holiday mood? 

I really hoped to apply for this credit card but the minimum income per annum is RM36,000..

I have been using UOB Credit Card and I have a good payment record in settling the credit card bill, but my minimum income is below RM36,000 per annum..

You guys have any other way to apply for the card? ... Just asking..

I did not received any sms from them as well when my card was approved according to the CS even though I was told that it will be send. In the end I just go directly to the branch where I'm suppose to collect my card to get it.

I took a look on my report...Wow all my credit cards, OD and loans from all the banks are listed in one place.
I was a bit shocked to see the total credit limits added from all the cc and banks. Wow, such a huge sum (when it all adds up.)
Imagine if I burst the total credit limits from all banks, wow it will cause me a long time of my future incomes to pay off!
In short it is a report of our total credit exposure.

Bank is looking at the exact same report if one is applying for new cc.
They will match this with our total incomes to assess the risk.
They don't want to get a new card holder that will default in paying card outstanding balance.

Besides the total loans, credit limits, outstanding balances, the report also show if there is any arrears installment of the past year.
Kinda interesting report. 

Yesterday (8-Aug) for Dining @ The Curve also can receive Bonus 20% rebate.... August is the last month of promotion !!!

Can use ocbc reload starbucks card for this 20% promo?

May I know how do you pay your Elken Service? Paid at Elken servce centre? In Penang, I paid direct to the tech who came to service water filtering system. They only accept cash.

I paid to the Elken technician that came to my house. Give the card number to him & he made a call to the bank. A second later bank sends sms to my phone stated the amount transacted. 

how strict is OCBC for credit card application? I already submit all required supporting document for my 36k per annum, the staff will help me to proceed but now is raya, have to follow up next monday i hate when she said do i have BE form..i juz started working for 3 months, so how can I have BE form.

I have 2 source of income, 1 is part time contract without EPF and 1 is full time job with epf.. she told me I can't use my part time income.. but it is my basic income too and I have stable of 3k flowing into my bank. I really want titanium card juz hope for the best

Must call Elken Penang and tell the manager , it is risky for his technicians to carry cash around...must also casually ask the tech. If kena robbed who will compensate ...

How long have you been working for the part time income? Maybe can supply neccessary documents to prove.

Need to take extra care when dealing with Elken technician since there are many conman act as Elken technician. Make sure they wear Elken technician uniform.
