QUOTE(spikey2506 @ Oct 22 2013, 10:15 AM) An update on this. My agent has no info abt the 5% cancellation. But he told me that they will be doing no more new sign ups for the Titanium card after 25/10. Just submitted my application online. Heard the same news from the personnel on phone. Have just called up the call centre and the CS says yes, the card still available for new application. However, submission through branch will have the GST compulsory to be paid, while application through phone will enjoy the 3 swipes within certain period to get GST offset. Now anxiously waiting for the application dept to call. EDIT: The CS called, new application until this Friday only. After that they will be focusing on their Platinum card and no more Titanium card. Bout the Titanium benefits, she also has no news if its gonna end soon. This post has been edited by hkboey: Oct 22 2013, 02:16 PM

Now that sucks. It will be interesting to see what is the outcome for all Titanium holders. But if they want to focus on their Plat, they better give more benefits. As of right now, their Plat is no better than CIMB. And CIMB is free for life.

QUOTE(klwoon @ Oct 22 2013, 11:34 AM) Received a call from OCBC offering a cash back insurance plan for Great Eastern life insurance rm50K, monthly premium rm133 for 10 years and if no claim can get back 105% premium. I've agreed to the plan given that there's 15days grace period to review the policy. Anyone else got this offer? Is it a good investment? yup I've gotten the same call and the operator mentioned there were multiple plans. Was interested but when I asked for some black and white the operator on the phone simply said "Don't have any" Couldn't bring myself to commit to something like that just over the phone without any proper documentation.

Oh my beloved OCBC Ti. I use it more often than Maybank2Card AmEx due to higher acceptance rate for MasterCard.
