Applied last friday, called CS today to check application status, it is approved!!!
hope my card can be ready on next week.

It seems like easier to get approved if you apply through OCBC branch, my sister applied via booth during exhibition kena rejected two month ago= =
(some info tongue.gif : the branch officer handle my application told me submitting EPF statement printed from OCBC koisk will help to make the application smooth when they saw the OCBC koisk xxx from the statement )

btw, about swipe 3 times within 45 days after card approved to get RM50 cash back for offset GST, is it still valid?

Guys, i want to apply this card this week, may I know wat document to bring and I should apply online first or straight go to bank with my document?
*
i applied in OCBC Cheras Alam Damai, there have EPF koisk.
normally bring IC to print EPF enough, you can also bring along 3 months payslip for support document.
one days after they called you for verified, you can call CS to check card application status already

Why you need RM 10 per transaction to get over 3 swipe ?
Easily in 1 month time, you can reach the 3 swipe sleep.gif
*

Lots of thanks to the sifu who shared the appeal letter!

Applied for OCBC's Titanium Mastercard on July 12, received a letter dated July 23 stating that my application has been unsuccessful, sent an appeal email on July 29 and finally received an sms from OCBC stating that my application was approved on August 1.

Received my card the very next day ^^
*
Congrats!

i applied at 26 July and get called at 30 July, everything seems fast. Then i called CS to check card application status at 1 Aug, the system replied that my cards application is approved! But until now no SMS to me about the card is sending to me sad.gif

All in Holiday mood? yawn.gif

I really hoped to apply for this credit card but the minimum income per annum is RM36,000..

I have been using UOB Credit Card and I have a good payment record in settling the credit card bill, but my minimum income is below RM36,000 per annum..

You guys have any other way to apply for the card? ... Just asking.. blush.gif
*
you could try on OCBC Cheras Alam Damai branch, the people said basic 2500 monthly can try to apply. And i and my college has been approved.

Some tips they share with me is the EPF they need to print on their branch, and printed 2012 and 2013 statement to support.

QUOTE(LoveMeNot @ Aug 8 2013, 12:56 AM)
I did not received any sms from them as well when my card was approved according to the CS even though I was told that it will be send. In the end I just go directly to the branch where I'm suppose to collect my card to get it.
*
yesterday i call CS to check, they said the card is created at 1 Aug and sent on 2 Aug but just no SMS. so i might get my card on next week. smile.gif

my card is approved and been sent out on 2 Aug.

but until now not received the card yet. sad.gif
CS said the card is send by normal mail, but i had received the approval letter (dated 2 Aug) from ocbc on 13 Aug. So it should be received at least today (today is 7th working day from 2 Aug)

seems like my card most likely lost, will call CS to reissue another card for me if tmr still not received mad.gif

btw, if i tell CS to send the new card to certain branch, can i authorize someone like my father to collect it? hmm.gif

Hi, sifus, Can I know how to know our billing cycle date? and how to pay our titanium master card via Maybank2U as I do not have a saving account with OCBC? Thanks a lot in advance.
*
you will know your billing cycle when you get your first statement. (statement date)
or i think you can call CS to ask for the statement date if you want to know before your first statement.
for payment via m2u, just use interbank fund transfer (IBG/GIRO) then select Credit Card Payment. the account number will be your 16 digit card number. charges will be rm 0.10

*
ya, Raya holiday might be the cause sad.gif
the card is send out the same day with the letter of approval. However the letter already arrived but not the card.

Yes I am referring to the new card holder rebate. Yup, but the RM10k annual spend is good to know.
*
the condition should be swipe 3 times within 45 days from card issue date (date stated on card letter)
after that you need to spend 10K to waive GST

i wonder why i cannot register my digi bill account in OCBC online banking, it keep showing "Please enter a valid bill reference no. (1018)"

and the sample digi bill acount number is "5.78544.00.00.100089"
but my bill only "1.xxxxxxx" (7 digit).

is it new format does not support by ocbc online banking? hmm.gif

btw, register OCBC titanium on m2u and pay bill via m2u for utilities bill can entitle 5%?
(mainly celcom and digi since m2u not support amex)

drop the "." from the account number

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 30 2013, 03:11 PM)
First reference no. as zenquix mentioned below, omit the "."
Second reference no. is your phone number 016xxxxxxx

Thanks for your reply biggrin.gif

now i only know the "." need to remove doh.gif registered with this "." in m2u with no problem

just want to ask, the "1" is included as my account number?
for "1.234567", acc num will be 1234567 or 234567?

any idea how much m2u charge for this transaction. since the credit card not maybank.
*
m2u will not charged for the transaction, is just that i don't know if can sure get 5% or not
anyway only OCBC portal can pay SYABAS bill by CC, i just stick with OCBC online portal (just don't like its VB style interface doh.gif )

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 30 2013, 11:50 PM)
Why don't register via OCBC portal? Confirm can get 5%?
I registered mine at OCBC portal.
*
OCBC portal show the whole card number, which i don't like.
the receipt generated also printed all number vmad.gif

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Aug 31 2013, 08:41 AM)
is there any capped on petrol rebate besides the rm50 rebate limit?

try searching for this at ocbc website and here but couldn't find anything, means no limit of rebate for petrol? hmm.gif
*
no cap for the category itself, RM50 cap is for overall cash rebate cap, which included 5% and 1% rebate (combined)
so if you only pump petrol, then max rebate will be cap on rm50 too
if you spend rm1000 ONLY in 5% category, then you reach rm50 cap
if you spend rm5000 ONLY in 1% category, then you reach rm50 cap
if your transactions have 5% and 1% category, then calculate yourself biggrin.gif

wanted to confirm.
For OCBC, the cash rebate is calculated per my biling cycle. So anything in my statement will be calculated for 5% & 1% cash rebate in that statement itself, wont bring forward the calculation to next month, right?

Because this seems to be different than MBB 2card, where MBB rebate is calculated per calender month, means end of month transaction, if posting date is next month, then the rebate will appear in next month's quota.
*
yes, cash rebate follow billing cycle. personally i think this is better as i can easily monitor if i had exceed rebate quota, then can use other card

Principle card holder = spend 10k to waive RM50 GST
sub card holder = spend 5k to waive rm25 GST

let say principle rm9K, sub rm6K, sub card sure can get usage bonus, how about principle? (combined spend is 15k)

is it the 'usage' it self is bond to the the physical cards?

Anyone facing situation like mine?

Last saturday, i already called OCBC telling them after 3 weeks i haven't received my card yet.
They said they will cancel the card & issue a new 1 & i'll need to pick it up at their branch.
But yesterday, the card that was sent out 3 weeks ago arrived to me.
Can i ask them to cancel the new card & activate back the one i just received?
*
I face this when my times, late mail deliver to me because of hari raya that time, but i already request a new card

basically the previous card they already blocked it and cannot unblock it, you will need to wait for your new card.
btw, you can request them to send the new card to you by courier (poslaju) if you are not free to the branch

Got my answer from Annual Usage Bonus FAQ

QUOTE
12. I am a Principal cardmember with annual accumulated Retail Spend and Cash Advance of RM15,000, will my Supplementary card enjoy the Annual Bonus as well?
No. In order to enjoy the Annual Usage Bonus, spending must be from each card. In your case, only the Principal cardmember will enjoy the RM50 Annual Bonus. The supplementary cardmember will only enjoy the RM25 annual usage bonus upon accumulating RM5,000 in total retail spend and/or cash advance.
