Well again, what if,

It is a week day,

Do you prefer to get 1% cash rebate (OCBC Ti) or 5x Treat Points (MBB2Card Amex)?

p/s: please don't tell me to come back to buy on weekend tongue.gif

I can't find Great Eastern life insurance and the online payee, can anyone tell me whether there is one in the online system, I am still waiting for my card and GE is the ONLY reason why I choose this OCBC card, I will cancel it if otherwise.

Auto billing will blow away your rebate for that month, you need to segregate the payment in order to maximize the return.
*
i pay quarterly, which amount to 1k for that month, 1% = rm10 only..so it's okay for me smile.gif

maybe not to u..

what?  GE insurance payment should be 5% rebate

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 26 2013, 02:00 PM)
I think... That's GE Titanium card not this OCBC Titanium... It is 2% and not 5%.
http://ocbccards.com.my/GETitanium.aspx
My agent also asked me if I were using that when I registered my OCBC Ti for my insurance auto-billing. smile.gif
*
yeap...like what fruitie mentioned, ocbc titanium only 1%
if urs is ocbc GE card then it's 2% for GE insurance, but u dun get the 5% for the 4 categories

after calculating, for my case, definitely titanium is better coz my premium is quite low

I don't understand, paying GE is after all an online payment, so confirm I can't get 5% izzit, that's why it is not listed on the 5% list, correct?
*
online payment doesnt mean it's under that 4 categories

cempedaklife : Working at Mont Kiara. Just need to pay toll and parking to have lunch there and reload my Starbucks. Haha.

But then again, has anybody got his/her rebate at mid or end of the month since a certain amount is allocated to each month (and probably it is on first come first serve basis)?
*
it is first come first serve....

better to do it at start of the month..given that it's till aug, u got plenty of time to plan ahead....mid is still ok, end of month is definitely a big risk..

Did anyone try to register digi as payee via OCBC online banking ?

Digi Account No format is like X.XXXXXXX
but the system prompted me "Please enter a valid bill reference no. (1018)"
The sample given was 2010 , the bill was no longer in that way...

In addition, can i pay my cc bill at OCBC Al-min ?
*
yes...u can pay ur cc at OCBC Al-amin..no difference..

used to do that..until i stumble upon the thread about opening a basic account that cost only rm0.50 for the first 2 interbank transaction laugh.gif

to make it easy, ask urself this:

what's ur loss if u try using ocbc titanium to pay? just try it, if it's 5%, its a bonus, if it's not, u still get 1%. any other card better than this?

Through M2U. I add my OCBC TMC as "other card" and i always choose that whenever i pay my Jabatan Air Sabah bill.

Anyway, i used to go to the JAS branch you mentioned to pay my bill too and from what remember, i did get 5%. May be you should ring OCBC up to check what's the MCC code ?
*
how does this work? any underlying charges?
