Update: after over 3000 sc, there is no dust coming out anymore. only spot 2 oil marks but i believe it quite normal for a new body.

hmm.gif shoot against a wall with slow shutter and shake the camera around. If you see a dot, that's dust. Oh and do it with the smallest aperture.

Because D700 is still the only non single digit body capable of doing 8fps.

if they can, u gonna buy it? tongue.gif

D700/D3 is still one of the best FX bodies till today. its affordable and it delivers. D800 has a great amount of MP and quite expensive. hard for the hardrive/memory card and wallet. D4 is expensive. D600 has got some flaws n to my personal experience, the WB isnt that accurate and the focusing system isnt as good as D700/800.

*just an opinion from a noob icon_rolleyes.gif *

n so far, the 12MP from the D700/D3 still delivers and serves me well tongue.gif

The photo is not my test shoot la...
I always shoot at sky with minimum aperture of the lens to check.
Sorry for the confusion

more reason to buy.

see, even Canon's full frame bodies don't have high FPS unless you buy the 1D X.

D700 is nice but i prefer something with FF + Video capability.

as to my photography preference, 5 - 6 fps works fine. I'm photographing still subjects most of the time.

Nikon's latest marketing strategy... to avoid bodies stealing sales from their flagship ala D700 + D3. So you have the slow but high MP D800... (I don't think there will be a D3X replacement anyways), and the entry FX model D600... leaving the D4 only high fps body from Nikon, second closest would be D700/D300/D300s at 8fps.

So most of you consider D700 over D600?but I heard D700 is discontinued already right? How much D700 new body?
I am not sure the money is worth for old tech + 2nd hand?(D700) or new tech yet still have flaws (D600)

What are the advantages of FX? If I can own FX body but not the lens, can use DX lens temporary?

I am using D90, if upgrade one shot go for FX which recommended by my friend. Saving money ><....
