if they can, u gonna buy it? tongue.gif
more reason to buy.

see, even Canon's full frame bodies don't have high FPS unless you buy the 1D X.

D700 is nice but i prefer something with FF + Video capability.

as to my photography preference, 5 - 6 fps works fine. I'm photographing still subjects most of the time.

..........

Recently broke ad, recovering my wound and save money for DX wide angle lens? FX lens? or FX body? not sure yet. But now I feel want to get a MB-D80 battery grip. hard to grab my D90 vertically...

don't know what to buy is a clear sign of don't know what you shoot, what you like to shoot, and what's your style / preference.

you already have a D90 and a good set of lens. stick with it unless you want to try something else, eg Macro or UWA landscape

check whether or not you assigned color profile like Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB by accident.

why choose Adobe? Stick to sRGB easiest. Go Adobe RGB only if you know what you're doing.

Most people's monitor can't even view Adobe RGB color gamut properly to begin with.

Some browsers don't support ICC color profile either.

I was like you last time, too clever use Adobe RGB. After come back, wonder why all skin tones look like zombie after I upload to the Internet.

That's not to say Adobe RGB isn't good. If you want to max out the colors, have the screen to view it and want to print out with all the colors - it's really great. Prophoto RGB covers even more color gamut.

for starters, just stick to sRGB. I still use sRGB for my professional work. It's not a matter of concern in my deliverables so I'm not bothered.

sRGB is still the best color space for web use if your objective is to provide the best viewing experience for the widest audience.

You photograph in JPG, right? If you are, try converting your Adobe RGB photo to sRGB. Vomit blood. tongue.gif

i understand where he's coming from because I had such problem before.

I use JPG but set to Adobe RGB. On the computer it looks fine but upon uploading to browser, the skin all look like corpse.

In the end have to find tune to add the red tones into the picture.

What I wonder is, since everyone is using different monitor, different browser...any processing standards(the common nice saturation, exposures etc) to be done when using lightroom? and the monitor settings too...normally I am using 50% brightness for my laptop screen. I heard there is some manufacturer introduce monitor pixels that is match with the Adobe colour....
people may not be using a calibrate monitor with good LCD panel but color is still color, they still get to see it.

smile.gif that's why for professional purpose, we use good grade LCD and do calibration. It doesn't have to be top end LCD or super detailed calibration, just a basic one will do.

oh, very different from Canon.

despite having the AF-On button, I custom set it to use the AE-lock button (2nd from the right)

just like you, I don't have long thumb so it's much more comfortable than reaching for the AF-On button.

yeah apparently 1.3x. now comes DX confusion for Nikon users. Last time for Canon, the 1.3x is APS-H.

Now Nikon has 2 types of APS-C.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Feb 21 2013, 05:20 PM)
actually the 1.3x is on top of the 1.5x crop factor.
so basically it becomes a 15mp 1.95x crop / as nikon says "While in this innovative mode, shooters will gain an extra telephoto boost (2X)".

sure saves on getting a 2.0TC...tho having one would be good too so can get way more range tongue.gif
oh. confusing.

I was thinking why 1.3 ......... .then 1.5 with 1.3 crop factor.

biggrin.gif so it's actually, as what you say, 1.5 X 1.3
