Update: after over 3000 sc, there is no dust coming out anymore. only spot 2 oil marks but i believe it quite normal for a new body.

The photo is not my test shoot la...

Is it a MF lens?
*
Nope.
it a D lens with 35mm f2. it still can auto focus because D600 has focus motor in body.

well what can we do , Malaysia leh , no choice but to play Unfilled warranty only lo , take for example my altec lansing speaker (i know its out of topic) , damn hard to find service center , like no one in Malaysia know how to service Altec Lansing speaker , feel like just because 1 speaker spoil , need to buy whole new set of speaker , and this is just plain stupid , i sure hope that Malaysia have better connections with Nikon and whatever other brands so that we the customer won`t suffer like this . Troll

out of topic: so do u able to fix the speaker? my altec lansing woofer also sometime working n sometime not working. also dont know where to get it fix...

QUOTE(Decky @ Apr 1 2013, 03:53 PM)
Alright guys, so I finally got my hands on the D600 + 35mm F2D combo and it feels great in my hands.
However, upon a few random test shots at home, I realized that there was a problem that I can't describe properly:

At almost all apertures, there will be a yellowish tinge covering half of the image

At first I thought it was a problem with the WB, so I set it to Kelvin mode and shot at the light in burst mode, only to see the same results.

problem 2 by DecQuinas, on Flickr
both shots were shot with the same aperture in burst mode.

My light wasn't flickering (lighting was constant).

I only know of the dust issue of the D600, have no idea whether this is a problem with the camera body or the lens
I do know that the 35mm F2d has oil problems, but I bought a relatively new one and I checked the aperture blades for oil droplets. None to be found.

Anyone mind helping?

Abit disappointed...

I just called up to Nikon Technical support line. Guess what. The dust and oil issue is not recognize by Nikon Malaysia.
Reason : Statement released by Nikon USA / Nikon Europe is not the same region as Nikon Malaysia (which is under Nikon Asia) region

doh.gif
*
too bad...just think to send back my d600 back to nikon after my phuket trip to clean the oil spot n see any fix will be done or not for the dust issue (although it didnt come out anymore) before the warranty over.

dear sifus,

any recommendations for tripods, multipurpose use, basically indoors and traveling?
budget RM300-400 maybe?

first time buying so I'm not looking for those really pro types.

What do you think of Benro?
*
using Beike Pro 471
so far so good...the only complain is it not able to support the total weight when i mount tamron 70-300 with either D600 or D7000. i try to tighten the plate very tight already, but then can see it slowly getting down when zoom to 300mm.

will changing the ballhead help? or just changing the plate with bigger contact area with the camera?
