QUOTE(celciuz @ Feb 4 2013, 09:36 PM) Yeah, as long as you focus nearer stuff like 1 to 2 metres, the vignetting is still recoverable.QUOTE(Holyjolly @ Feb 4 2013, 10:02 PM) What? It not allow to focus at the extreme side? same like my D90 right? tends to lost focus at the extreme side focus points? Yes, 35 1.8G is DX lens. Vignetting on DX shouldn't be a problem. Currently I'm using my D600 with 35 1.8G only. Happier than when I was using D7000 Still newbie couldn't analyze photo....i think the lady is lost focus or aberration? 35mm f1.8G is DX lens right? I owned it...quite nice except some minor vignetting. QUOTE(Holyjolly @ Feb 4 2013, 10:02 PM) What? It not allow to focus at the extreme side? same like my D90 right? tends to lost focus at the extreme side focus points? No, D600 uses D7000's focusing system. So its exactly the same size as the one used in D7000. So all the 39 points are very focused in the middle of the frame.Still newbie couldn't analyze photo....i think the lady is lost focus or aberration? 35mm f1.8G is DX lens right? I owned it...quite nice except some minor vignetting. This post has been edited by Silverfire: Feb 4 2013, 10:36 PM |

QUOTE(BlizzardCraft @ Feb 5 2013, 11:20 PM) hmmm... okay ba... i proceed with the deal Before doing any of that, ask the seller for the serial number. Call up Nikon to see if there's any prior repair done to the lens or anything.btw any idea how to check and purchase a 2nd hand lens? 1) Check front and back elements. ( Method : use light reflect here there... need magnifier or anything ? ) 2) Check focusing ( Speed? sound? accuracy? ) 3) Check image from shots? ( but how to? @@ ) 4) Check exterior... ^ correct? |

QUOTE(BlizzardCraft @ Feb 6 2013, 12:17 PM) hmm..ya lo.. hope the lens wont spoil so fast ba Just warranty card no receipt can be sent for repair I think. Since I sent my camera for cleaning, I always send with warranty card only.No record in Nikon Centre not sure if its Grey lens wo, it just proves its not been sent for service/repair before. And since Nikon covers international warranty for its lenses, so This post has been edited by Silverfire: Feb 6 2013, 03:51 PM |

QUOTE(Holyjolly @ Feb 7 2013, 12:37 AM) D90 really is a good DSLR? I am using it. Duno i am still newbie or what, I duno how to utilise it...always get photo that is lack of sharpness if use the extreme side focus point... Usually I just do centre focus and reframe, some time may lose focus but I find it faster that way.and 11 focus points like not enough or flexible for me to point and headshot with different angle for full portrait.... So noob. I lack of time and guidance to learn post-processing, digital blending, HDR etc.... just simple WB, exposure adjustment. |
