QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Apr 7 2017, 11:53 AM) Hi WhitE LighteR, Thank you for the feedback, our RD are fixing the problem now. In the meantime, you can downgrade the firmware if you wish to use the feature. Thank you Hi, Since last we spoke, there has been 2 more new firmware on Asus website for RT-N18U : Version 3.0.0.4.380.7378 Version 3.0.0.4.380.7743 But neither shows any bug fix regarding the broken bandwidth limiter on version 7266 May I know if the bug has been fixed and on which firmware ? Also will there be a fix be out for the KRACK issue ? Thx This post has been edited by WhitE LighteR: Oct 19 2017, 01:21 AM

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Oct 17 2017, 10:52 AM) Hi CutieCompact, Unfortunately me also don't know the setup yet. Are you using any of its plan now? Seen like their call center don't know anything about this Home Fibre. Thank you Yeah this one https://www.celcom.com.my/personal/plans/celcom-homefibreThey seem to be have a heavily locked router, and they don't provide any setup instruction on other devices unless the device come from Celcom. I don't seem to able to find any settings. Would be nice able to use my own asus router. Hope you able to help. Attached thumbnail(s)

Gearbest. But it is buying from China. So I try to follow his instructions on how to buy at gearbest. U should too. http://www.jayceooi.com/buy-gearbest-products-malaysia/Edit: Ur budget rm600. Get the rt-1300uhp locally rm550. I go into this knowing I might lose rm850. Online China is a risk and you might need 3yr warranty so I think u better take local. Just to confirm, Asus rtac58U have the same chipset as AC1300UHP ? with only less ram and shorter antenna, thinking between those two but I can’t see any reason for me personally to opt for the more expensive model. Tq

Tq RT-AC1300UHP bigger RAM size and Repeater mode, which RT-AC58U don't have repeater mode.

I bought the AC58U 2 mths back from the IT Fair at Mid-Valley to replace my old AC12N. Speed was much faster about 30% more on 2.4Ghz and 50% higher on 5Ghz on my Unifi 50Mbp plan, notwithstanding the frequent drops in my internet connection especially on 5Ghz channel. Last week out of sudden the AC58U stopped working. The unit is still powered but no internet connection on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. The WAN LED light is off. Still can see the WIFI connection on my phone but the small "lock" icon (think this indicates password protection to the WIFI connection) is no longer there. What could be the issue?
