Hi OKLY,

May I ask, is there any other feature that you have enabled on the router? Like QoS or VPN.

And do you notice what is the CPU usage if you not downloading anything?

Thank you
*
QoS is enabled.

CPU usage when not downloading is usually less than 10%.

Hi Asus Support,

According to Asus website, OS support for Asus PCE-AC56 network card is up to Windows 8.1. Is Windows 10 support for this card coming soon?

TQ

Hi sEabrEEzE,

For PCE-AC56, Windows 10 will automatically detect the driver for this wireless adapter.

Hi Asus Support,

Currently I'm using RT-N14UPH and apparently it is also affected by this issue as i was able to get to the login page by just key-ing in the WAN address on my phone (on mobile network.) and I've checked there is no new firmware to address this issue as well. Is there anything i can do to disallow remote access of router via WAN ?

Hi vivre,

Sorry we didn't do any repairing on ASUS router(beside firmware), if we found out the router really got and cannot be fix with firmware then we will be replacing the router with a new one.

Thank you
*

Since Asus Malaysia STILL refuses to directly handle warranty claims.. You'll have to send it back to the seller.

Hi ASUSmy,

My RT-AC87U router is causing fast battery drain on my Samsung Galaxy S6 on 5Ghz channel. 2.4Ghz is fine. Previously the same phone was connected to a RT-AC68U via 5Ghz and it didn't have this problem. Is there a fix for this?

Yes, the wireless range. So, I just buy a new long antenna model and replace the existing Silver UNIFI modem? What model do you recommend me to buy ?
