Use this command, it should work unless ASUS made massive changes

cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp

thank you @blacktubi ! icon_idea.gif

@RT-AX86U-3860:/tmp/home/root# cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp
71401

can you help me to understand the output?

is there a formatting string to be use for the output?

should have known that ASUS would never include man in their routers LOL
@RT-AX86U-3860:/sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0# man temp
-sh: man: not found

When i plugged in both usb thumbdrive and usb hdd, 2.4g network suffered in terms of range and speed. My guess is because there’s not enough power
Is there any alternative power adapter with higher power output?

USB3.0 interference will cause terrible 2.4Ghz connection.

Questions is do you really need until wifi 6?depend your devices how many that support wifi6. I suggest using ac86 still power enough because ax3000 price almost there but depends your requirements and budget setup

Ah i see. Then i have to scrap the idea to use the router as all in one box to download torrent and serve file over the network then.

Use USB 2.0 port from the back instead.

No point to use USB 3.0 as RT-AC66U B1 couldn't support the speed anyways.

My unifi account was created today and i changed the netis router to Asus AX56U immediately after TM configured and confirmed the speed is up to 300Mbps

I followed the configuration guide from blacktubi Asus Unifi, except the unifi plus box won't active when connected to lan4. It worked well under AX56U lan3. But i have a weird problem which AX56U will has red light on Internet LED. It happened a few times but it will turn back to normal after a while. Does anyone encounter this issue and got solution?

LAN4 for old UNIFI device smile.gif I just changed my router 2days ago to Asus AX56U and don't find any issues. I'm not sure if your network cable from the modem to router could be an issue. I'm using CAT6 LAN cable and so far no issues for past few days.
