Hi

I'm a RT-AC68U user. I would like to know the USB 3.0 can support until maximum how many Tb HDD?

Will it able to support a 2 bay USB 3.0 DAS with 2x3Tb inside it?

Thank you.

Hi ralli_art,

You can refer to the link below for the maximum hard disk size that our router can support.

Thank you

the most useless network card you have....N 2230...
not to worry about 150mbps...  once you set channel band 20/40 mhz..it auto switch
40mhz = 150mbps  20mhz  = 300mbps
*
Its the other way around...

20MHz limited to 150mbps, 40MHz is 300mbps... and now they are running trial for 80MHz for those AC routers.

I'm using RT-N66U and currently on latest firmware. Found out there are some different on ping results during speedtest using cable and wireless.

I got 15ms ping test on cable and 60 - 62ms on wireless.

Is this normal ?

If no, how could I decrease the ping response time and how the setting will be ?

BTW, AsusMY,

I had both RT-N12HP and RT-N14UHP. I wonder if it is necessary to increase the antenna power gain from the default 80? Does it really increase the range if you increase the power?

I like to know that as well. On the side note, does increasing the mW also increase our health risk?

Hi andrekua2,

You can test it by adding the value, the maximum is 200.

Thank you

my scenario is as per below after playing with wireless setting. Don't know what else to set other then update the firmware which I'm kind of reluctant to at this moment.

1) 20Mhz = 72.2mbps.

2) 40Mhz = 150mbps.

Well, thats where the spatial streams comes into play. The wifi adapter on your pc/netbook plays a part too

For better understanding, read this.

Hi warlove3,

Maybe this is because the UNIFI are using dual stack platform?

Do let me know if I am wrong.

Thank you

Is there a fix for DHCPv6 for AC68U ?

seems to be broken for now, is there any possible for the technician to test the router for IPv6 on their site to confirm this?

BTW, PPPoE dialer worked as advertised just that the router one does not work accordingly...

hi Asusmy,

just purchased the RT-N14UHP, it is advertised as 3G/4G USB modem capable but i don't see YES 4G dongle listed, though it seems to be supported by other older Asus routers.

any idea when it will be supported ? i am already running the latest beta firmware 3.0.0.4.374.2239

What does the bold line mean? ipv6 module isnt working?

EDIT: My old RT-N16 is running fine with IPv6, so this could be firmware issues in the router, hopefully more testing is done to resolve the issue.

there is only Celcom, Digi and Maxis - and a blank entry without name that produces an error on the page.

i have already tried to reset the router after firmware update as well - by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds - do i press it with the router powered up or unpowered ?

I did google more information about Intel wireless N-2230.

some ppl mention it can achieve 300mbps, some say the maximum speed is 150mbps.

to me 150mbps or 300mbps doesn't really make a different as the router is stable enough to cater my usage.

Hi,

I got an N66U that stops working when the firework goes off last night. I was told to send it in to Wisma SPS service centre. Is there a service centre nearer to PJ? Preferably opens during weekends, that's when I'm off.

Thanks.

Regardless of pc or mobile, the browser won't be able to change the webgui in the firmware.

The answer is still same. Missing in Chrome.

Did you set router to N only? I read that 2230 is 2x2 and Intel even listed it for 300mbps. How far are you from the router?
