Did you set router to N only? I read that 2230 is 2x2 and Intel even listed it for 300mbps. How far are you from the router?
*
I set N mode only with 40mhz.

my house is a 2 1/2 story house, the router is in the mid level hall and my room is on the upper floor.

the max I can get is 150mbps, my signal is full bar.

RT-N16 is a monster with different Broadcom chip, its got higher capacity flash memory for more complex FW, can't compare with N14 which is lower end.

I already tried the latest one and the beta. Both had Yes missing.

The 14UHP also can flash custom firmware but at the moment, its too new to have one. The 12HP which is based on an earlier version of this chip (5357 vs 5358 for 14UHP) already have custom firmware.

RT-N16 maybe a monster when it was launch about 5years (could be wrong), but today its just a very normal router. It is not that much better than RT-N14UHP for sure.

Today, what you would call a monster are those dual core ARM Cortex A9 equipped like AC56, AC68 which runs at 800MHz, but monster of all is still the Netgear R7000, the first 1GHz dual core A9 router.

Hi,

I got an N66U that stops working when the firework goes off last night. I was told to send it in to Wisma SPS service centre. Is there a service centre nearer to PJ? Preferably opens during weekends, that's when I'm off.

Thanks.

Hi Harddisk,

For claiming warranty, you will need to send back to the place you bought.

Thank you

What does the bold line mean? ipv6 module isnt working?
EDIT: My old RT-N16 is running fine with IPv6, so this could be firmware issues in the router, hopefully more testing is done to resolve the issue.

Hi warlove3,

Can you provide us the log and the setting file from the RT-AC68U to me? I will PM you my e-mail address.

If you able to provide the log and setting from the RT-N16 will be great.

Thank you

yeah i mean back then RT-N16 was a monster... but then not many routers have 2 x USB ports and 32MB Flash...

our 14UHP is only 16MB Flash... but its more than enough to flash a full featured custom FW.

Hi, I just bought an ASUS RT-N12-HP router, to replace my unifi router is there any walkthrough available? I tried to use their Quick Internet Setup but to no avail.

I also bought a Asus RT-N12 to use as an extender, is that possible?

Easy.

Before you start, there is an option to select SPECIFIC ISP REQUIREMENTS. Select Unifi from there then only proceed.

The plastic ring on my antennas (RT-N66U) are cracked. Is there replacement for sale or is it covered under warranty?

Thanks.

Hello,
Does Asus RT-N15U have a new firmware? That supports unifi of course.

I'm currently on v3.0.0.4.364.
