hmm DAYTIME running lights is a bit different from preve. i saw audi, lexus, volkswagen, bmw. when morning they open DAYTIME running lights the led only power on. the rear lights dont have.

if we open the DAYTIME running lights the back light also on...so during morning or afternoon it is not that good looking actually...

yup, thats why im wondering if there's a way to remap the front LED to a switch, so we can choose to switch it on/off by its own smile.gif

both are different item which connects to different component which serves different purpose. Imagine you have a piece of steak. Without salt, it would be bland, and without pepper, it would be only salty but not spicy. WIth both salt and pepper = ???

If not mistaken.drex chan from ea auto manage to reconfigure the CAN BUS system in preve to change the led light to DRL. this done without tempering any wire..i think it is posible to also reco figure the wing mirror auto refolding function..

its not running day light in preve, its position lamp by the way. Normally used bulb, but in preve used led.

How to know they updated both ecu and tcu. Some of them said the sc only update tcu but not ecu. Also, when cold start rpm not stable, keep up and down. Normal issue?
ALso, where got new ecu/tcu feedback? Want to check through then update. Later regret.

Thats right, but they design it in such a way that it looks like DRL inside the headlamp, so its kinda misleading in a way.

technician update the tcu and/or ecu just by using laptop...they will connect a cable to a socket below steering.

how to know they update ecu? as i said before, observe the file they choose to update when updating new ECU...
everytime either they want to update tcu or ecu, two of this thing have to be done together...

before this, before got new ecu, i go eon sc update tcu...they use the old ecu and reflash into my car...
the step is the same, just that they use different file (the file contains ecu settings...)

if u unable to observe, then u will only know it after u drive it... whistling.gif

fc way lesser...tcu controls rpm..i think..
if u notice at "instant", which i mentioned several times, u will see the fuel consumption is way lesser...

Had a trip to Sauk - Kuala Kangsar few hours ago for a dinner.
Had bad experience with Preve on the highway, the car hardly above to accelerate from 110km/h up to 150km/h....

Very much unlike what I had with the OLD ecu.
Hopefully its because of new ECU/TCU still learning my driving habit coz this is my first trip with more than 110km/h after the ECU/TCU mapping

You should go. The feedback is good.
Perhaps TCU/ECU need to time to relearn everything.....
I'm still getting pretty bad FC....but pickup is much better than before.
