do not use OTA if ur using slow broadband..unless u can download @ 5mbps ...

ive downloaded it in way faster net connection before and the problem persists. as for this latest attempt though, yea, its rather crappy broadband, admittedly.

what options do i have then? upgrade firmware via kies stuck at 99% download sad.gif

which source file do you mean? the downloaded OTA? is that even possible? hmm.gif

should i do factory reset and retry OTA? or sammobile is the only option left for me? hmm.gif

Easiest way..go to service centre and ask them to help flashing Jellybeans firmware for you. It's free of charge biggrin.gif

This is a simple issue, just SELECT (CHECK) show notification in Home Manager. Exit. And then UNSELECT (UNCHECK) show notification again. It will then not appear in notifications anymore. Just a bug in the app.

Don't try uninstalling TouchWiz. If you're really want to, you can freeze it using Titanium Backup. You need to use Titanium Backup's power defrost to unfreeze if later (e.g. if you want successful OTA updates)

Hey hey, thank you so much!! I can finally type Chinese without installing 3rd party keyboard! Do u know how to type in TRADITIONAL Chinese? Coz the method above only allow me to type in SIMPLIFIED Chinese... I did add zh_TW but I still can't type it =(

If you already rooted..flash manually the firmware via Odin. Get the firmware from Sammobile.com

What happen to your phone.? If motherboard kaput then service centre will change the motherboard only. No 1 to 1 replacement..

take long time to charge...i havent go to collect my phone but yday call to customer support to check the status they said they change the mainboard!! last time my friend's s3 getting slow and battery not charging they change new set to him!!
