QUOTE(ultra_nyamuk @ Nov 1 2012, 08:50 AM) Im using XtremeGuard screen protector. Basically like Flex HD or Invisible Shield. Honestly i dont like it..but i guess it offers some protection. +full screen and back protection +very cheap, FREE fast delivery (international about 2 weeks plus only) - orange peel(plus point is it lessens glare because of the uneven surface) - not so smooth when swiping - clarity affected Check out DBA Cases JustLikeGlass screen protector (google)...> 50USD free international shipping. Anyone wanna bulk ? hehehe! Got many good reviews on XDA and Amazon. im in ! pls let me know when it reach USD 50 ..LOL

QUOTE(nokia6280 @ Nov 1 2012, 09:42 AM) Just couldn't understand why required to factory reset when OTA from stock non-rooted ICS to stock non-rooted JB. If you are from stock to stock there will be no data will be wipe and what it does is replacing your ROM to newest only Unless, you installed custom ROM and going back to stock and vise-versa can simply go to download mode to wipe data and fatory reset. LOL! just couldn't understand. Added on November 1, 2012, 9:43 amJust simply re-configure it back and i guess this is a bug from ICS to JB... i updated thru KIES and everything still in place . no chances...my apps , photo etc in the phone memory still there unless u flash thru ODIN ...then i not sure if its still there or not

Switching from S3 to Note2 juz bcoz of bigger battery capacity , its plain silly ... judge frm the bigger screen from note 2 , common sense tell me that it need more battery juice !
either get a battery pack or buy a spare battery...note2 is not that nice to use and hold imo.. its too big !

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 1 2012, 02:21 PM) Your commonsense I m afraid is not so common The note 2 battery life is at least twice that of S3 Ask any S3 users who is now using note 2 now Onscreen time easily 8-9 hours read baronic comment . and fyi , note2 battery is 3100mAh ... S3 2100mAH .. how to get at least 2x S3 battery ? 8-9hours ? seriously ? no way man... pls check carefully... the 3100mAh is to compensate the big screen ! if they use 2100mAh on 5.5" screen , i believe note2 sure mad at Samsung ! u want good battery life , get iPhone ! easily smoke android OS phone for sure !else , get a battery pack

charge whenever its battery low. easy and to make ur life simple. carry a charger anywhere u go .
disable any animation on ur phone and do not use live wallpaper to save battery. lower ur brightness of phone screen....kill unused apps....
if ur battery life still sucks , go claim a new battery.probably its spoilt !

QUOTE(danieloo @ Nov 1 2012, 04:11 PM) This is really Tempting. I did a mistake of moving S2 to Note last year Nov. I am now with my S3 and not willing to go for Note2 just yet. But, with all the comments, it's really amaze. with so many restriction by phone manufacturer , im hesitate to root and flash anymore.... not to risk my warranty and im so forgetful on wat i hav done to my phone as well.... binary counter , unlocked bootloader etc....

QUOTE(wiraone @ Nov 1 2012, 05:14 PM) Each of us have different way of using our smartphones, some will use it more to talk/sms, some more on games, some for browsing, fb, snapping photos, messaging etc. Some might have bad network connection, some might have wifi connection all day. So each of us will have different battery consumption. We're talking from our experience and what shown on our phone .. so, please, don't say that we're talking trash .. true enuf... bad telco signal will lead to bad battery life end of the day , its up to the user to customise the phone based on personal preference

QUOTE(willybilly @ Nov 2 2012, 02:22 PM) Most of the time it's just a soft brick causing the power button being disabled. The USB jigs will usually do the trick. So, if you owned few Samsung Galaxy phones, it's advisable to purchase one from eBay and it's not costly. Who knows your friend and those around you may thank you for having it. i first flashed my DHD and it will be the last d... i will not flash or root my S3 d since i need the warranty ..LOL...
