QUOTE(wiraone @ Nov 2 2012, 05:44 PM) What kind of error, what method do you use to upgrade to JB? More information will surely help us to give some suggestion/direction. I was on rooted ICS before and had no problem when upgrading to JB using OTA, sure I need to re-root it again after JB was installed. cant remember exactly what error though as i was a bit occupied by then and for now, my net is a bit spotty |

Planning to get to JB, so using the OTA option.
Downloaded fine. Went to start the install process, everything looking good. Then about halfway through the progress bar where the little green android is laying down with its hood open, I get a red exclamation mark. And everything stops. Restarted and everything is fine, but still in 4.0.4. What went wrong actually? |

QUOTE(IhaveNoNameOK @ Nov 13 2012, 02:24 AM) not the first time ive had it. i think its been three to four times now.. QUOTE(steventan85 @ Nov 13 2012, 02:31 AM) ive downloaded it in way faster net connection before and the problem persists. as for this latest attempt though, yea, its rather crappy broadband, admittedly. what options do i have then? upgrade firmware via kies stuck at 99% download |

QUOTE(IhaveNoNameOK @ Nov 13 2012, 02:53 AM) which source file do you mean? the downloaded OTA? is that even possible? should i do factory reset and retry OTA? or sammobile is the only option left for me? This post has been edited by lucifer_666: Nov 13 2012, 06:56 AM |
