QUOTE(-j-t- @ Nov 1 2012, 11:00 PM) LOL i thought wanna flash wanam later =.= since things like this happen, keep back my official JB =) Actually flashing is quite safe. It's rarely you brick you phone (Of course that doesn't mean it doesn't happen). But chances of bricking is quite slim or maybe you just did something wrong |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Nov 1 2012, 11:05 PM) one crucial thing some people forget always is to check md5 before flash, cause a bad file kills the phone's operability Lol. Reminds me of the first time I flashed. The file I got was apparently incomplete which I didn't know. Flashed and it turned out weird. No keyboard and a few crucial things were missing. But luckily, wasn't any coding's error just file missing. lol.Added on November 1, 2012, 11:13 pm QUOTE(droidtrix @ Nov 1 2012, 11:10 PM) Quite true. QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 1 2012, 11:13 PM) Hmm..i thought if the md5 not match then the flashing will fail but no harm to the phone. But i could be mistaken. Another thing is remember to backup files onto external sdcard. One thing that need to be avoid it hand dont get itchy and click on repartition or anything else that not needed. lolz If not like me itchy hand go full-wipe when I forgot my info are in internal storage. |

QUOTE(bububang @ Nov 3 2012, 04:57 PM) i got memory issue after update.. i not able to install any new apps already..dont have such problem before update.. i guess need factory reset I think you're assuming that it keeps prompting "Memory Full" or similar notice?how to factory reset without format the internal sd? Tell me if it's the case because I had such an encounter and sifu here helped me solve it Added on November 3, 2012, 5:34 pm QUOTE(mscw88 @ Nov 3 2012, 04:50 PM) Ya Well in a way it's good. I was gonna spend tons on replacing the screen and buying a new case. Guess I should just keep the money for something else I guess .. QUOTE(rattan @ Nov 3 2012, 11:59 PM) ggwp actually means Good game well played. But people sometimes use it to describe a "lost" or an "end" to something. Any doodles, need some advice guys. Considering my screen cracked and forced to continue using it until no more value. Do you think I should still buy cases or screen protector for it? I mean like good cases like UAG and Xgear Spectre screen protector? |

QUOTE(RedDevils88 @ Nov 6 2012, 02:28 PM) i recently sent my phone for a LCD display exchange. when i got back my phone, i felt that my phone's volume rocker is bulged than normal. causing it extremely easy to press with my UAG case. i went back and told them this, they tried to readjust it on the spot but still the same. sigh what should i do? should i make a complain and ask them to adjust it to the normal position? i have taken a few s3s to compare and mine is much easier to press But I thought easier to press is better? LolAdded on November 6, 2012, 3:32 pmAnyway guys, finally decided to go for a UAG case. Anyone know any seller in Malaysia? This post has been edited by IhaveNoNameOK: Nov 6 2012, 03:32 PM |

Hey sifus ... got 1 noobie question. If I change from a rom to another... is it mandatory to do a full wipe before switching to another rom?
If I have to do a full wipe? I only have to use TitaniumBackup? |

QUOTE(5zigen @ Nov 12 2012, 11:29 PM) If i remember correctly, titanium need rooted device rite? Is that means non rooted got no real software to backup apps? TitaniumBackup has a free version which has a certain limitation. If i'm not mistaken you can still backup as usual. I think TitaniumBackup's "Pro" version has additional features like Dropbox linked or smth like that. Correct me if i'm wrong :3 |

I got the rom from xda though haha. So, If i do full wipe... I need to backup data and put it on the sd or on comp ? :/ Added on November 13, 2012, 12:30 am QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 13 2012, 12:15 AM) Switching custom or stock roms..? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1815285Custom roms - read at that custom rom thread instruction. Stock roms - for same version (JB to JB) no need to do full wipe. Enough by doing wipe cache and dalvik. So, If i full wipe, do I backup data to sdcard or comp? Use titanium?
