so your cpf is now is 20%/16% (3rd year) straight or 5%/4% (1st year) and remaining 11% from employer still encashed to you.

sorry bro didnt realize u asked me about this.
to be honest i am not sure about this as i havent go for the formalities and am not officially PR yet. haha..
i believe you have the choice of full contribution and partial contribution. in the case of partial contribution, i THINK the remaining will not be encashed to u... but let me confirm and get back to u once everytihng is done.

izzit true P1 pass easier to get PR? i just got my letter to go MOM apply for the card, and i heard abt P1 easy to get PR

Logically speaking, yes, right? P1 EP means you already earning $8k/month, which implies you are more desireable due to your skillset/experience/capability/whatever.

Why so rush to apply for PR?

There is nothing much a PR can do for you if you already have the money and skill to move around.

The company told me it's rejected due to the "missing line" in my letter of completion study, and this is the reason given by MOM. This is all i know.
Hi, mind share what is written on the letter briefy? Especially the line "has awarded / will be awarded a degree", does it exist?
*
The letter is written in Bahasa Melayu. It stated that i will be graduated at Oct (subjected to result and fulfill the requirement of graduation). Anyway i had just received the degree certificate from my uni. My last step is go to MOM and collect my pass.

Added on November 1, 2012, 10:03 pmIs there any wireless broadband plan with no contract? Living without internet is a pain for me..

Telco doesn't accept IPA. Only banks do. you can try prepaid mobile internet. I believe passport should be good enough for those.

If you want to sign contract, you will need your pass(not IPA), proof of billing within 3 month(to verify the address you given is the place you still staying).
