Start in SG if you wanna build your career here. One thing very important is your network. If you start in KL, your network won't be very much useful if you wanna come SG later.
*

Work in sg, get pay in sgd and stay in johor. Best combo =)
*
that was my initial plan, when i reach here 2 year back hmm.gif
then again after move to my 3rd job and double what i getting from the beginning
i begin to realise the importance of time
is like a chain effect for example like extra time to rest and produce better quality work indirectly produce better result and recognition and better job prospect have led me there rolleyes.gif

i see my other colleague travelleng from JB daily, small observation is they look tired and shabby sweat.gif

i still plan to move to JB one day for that semi D with a swimming pool with a big forest behind with a lake view
but my current current strategy is attack rather defense, so when i hit that ceilling, i will consider that JB option thumbup.gif

wow tougher for PEP sweat.gif 12k a month doh.gif

The Manpower Ministry said the work-pass criteria changes are in line with moves to raise the quality of Employment Pass holders. This follows earlier government curbs on foreign manpower.

Hi all sifus here. I got a job offer from SG, and the pay is 3.5k sgd.
Is the amount enough for me to migrate there? The office is in raffles place.

Would appreciate some feedback on this.

Thanks.

guys just saying if your leverage is because of same culture as the singaporean and cheaper cost of labour, this will not last you very long tongue.gif
eventually, u will be expensive and old, so you need a different strategy in long term

there is alot of ang moh co in sg, not singaporean company, where top all ang moh
so in their eye it dont really matter u malaysian or singaporean as long as u can do the job whistling.gif

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I can't go through this entire thread, so I'll just quickly ask here.

What's the best way to transfer SGD back to MY? So far I've always just withdrawn S$1000 notes from the bank in SG, then bring back to KL and exchange at the money changer, then deposit into bank. But if it's for larger amounts, handling so much cash at once in KL is a bit... unadvisable perhaps.

Is there an easier way to do it without getting raped by exchange rates?

During CNY holidays, when is the best time to cross the causeway to Msia (and vice versa)? Any good timing?
Thanks!
