Anyone can tell me why SG food is so sucks...???
*
The best food i've tasted in my life so is in Sg - a restaurant not kopitiam.
The roadside food quality drops due to outsourcing issue. Noodles done by factory, cook by foreigners kuli etc. M'sia is not far behid this phenomena as no 2nd gen wish to take over. Look at penang, it's like a Singapore in 1980s... Soon all the famous Penang stalls will be gone.

1 meat 2 vege sgd2.8 hougang/defu.
1 meat 2 vege in kopitiam (aircon) sgd3.3 after kopitiam card discount.
One thing for sure, cook at home will save a lot of money.

Is it wise if I apply PR next year after receiving income tax receipt? By then I only moved here for 1.5y with >4k salary.

Fews month back I prepared 700 for Monster Dre Beat, ended up taking yamaha hph-200 back home for 160. Loving it. It produces best ever sound from 50+ headphones I tested in funan that day.

hmm. You don't have an EP yet you stay in Singapore? My landlord asked me for a photocopy of EP as soon as I got one.

You get the job then you decide where to stay. No? I think it's harder to find a job then a room, especially if your accommodation may limit the location of your workplace. E.g. you don't want to work in Ang Mo Kio if you stay in Bukit Panjang.

When exactly will you get your degree then?
From what I know most public U students already started working in Sg even before the convo.

Does anyone know if one can hold more than 1 PR-ship? Eg Singapore and Australia?
*
Singapore PR ship requires you to work 3 years within 5 years in Singapore. Which means if you're out of Singapore, or not employed under Singapore for more than 4 years in a row, your PR-ship may be revoke.

Actually I pity those WP foreign workers who're exploit by employer here in Singapore. All of us were having the same dream to earn a comfortable living in Singapore yet some of them were sent back home empty handed, being owed months of salary, and slept at inhumane space for months.

Will take AL before and after CNY. Drive back Penang. Save money save hustle as long as I avoid traffic jam day.

Stevenlee1989:
Kinda weird you just post your CV and expected salary here. What do you expect from us? My 2 cent: You should clearly state the nature of job: full time/part time/training. Cut short your part time job/training to just a few lines and focus on listing your professional career and career related skills, in your case - IT. Your CV is too long for a freshgrad, and the extra length on those part time job doesn't really add much weight and value.

Tips: I got headhunted to Singapore through monster.com.my.

Konsortium uses Causeway, sucks if u're coming in on Sunday evening.

If 2nd link, I'll hire a taxi at Beach road.
If causeway link, I'll hire a taxi at Woodland checkpoint. Save more time.

Midnight cab fare about 16-20sgd.

The only things that I would talk bad about Singaporean is that they take things for granted and other attitude that comes after it.

Anything else they're still well above average within Asia.

Prepare to downscale, up production or transform business model.
Some business closure is expected during the transition period.
Only 3 groups/cat of FT intake are open.

Was looking at future Singapore land zoning. East coast park will be without the coast. And Sentosa is consider "green" zone? To me it's as busy crowdy as Bugis.

I rather everything goes up higher than chopping bulldozing trees.

Working in Singapore very ma fan one. Not for the feint heart and lonely soul.

My gf signed 1 year contract HDB rental via agent. Is there any legal concern for her not to contact back the agent and sign a new contract (as well as pay agent fee) after 1 year upon current contract lapse?

i believe a contract can still be drafted between landlord and tenant without the agent for rooms rental.

Guess this is what we're going to try first in the future. Assume that she wants to extend her stay there.

Already discounted lar. Ori price on market should be around Sgd460-500.
Wanted to get rid of this space consuming box without being bashed by my gf for being too "generous".
