How long does it takes assuming I am staying in Jalan Ah Siang and work at woodland industrial park e1? Normal working hour, 9-6pm. Any idea?

Ok thx for the info.

If i rent a room starting at 15h nov, that's mean i need to pay half month rental or full month rental? Because i have to decide when to start working. If i have to pay full month, it's not worth right? since i only get half month salary. If i pay at 15th nov and last until 15th Dec. It still a pain for me = = because i have to take the half month salary to pay for next month.

This month only left few days, i afraid i have not enough time to get a room.

you are assuming that we are supposed to know where is Jln Ah Siang ? crossing the causeway is a nightmare during 6-8pm on weekdays

I don't think you could get a room starting from mid of the month. You could always start at 1st of Dec. Well, good luck anyway.

Boarding firefly. Bussing services to ATR flight. I wanted to rant to the counter staff on the price of my ticket. But noticed they are dnata staff. Outsourced. So forget about it.

Don't screw the ground staff or cabin crew about fares lah. These frontliners already have a tough job without being punching bags for something they have absolutely no control over or input into.

Send an email to Firefly's CEO instead. IIRC, it's a Chinese guy who didn't get his post by virtue of his skin colour or datukships.

I agree. Instead of being nasty to the ground staff (Dnata) I was asking why their attire is similar to StanChart. Donning glowing green and tranquil blue the first impression really feels like being served by a bank customer service officer.

Firefly is the only subsidiary of MAS that is profitable. The catering, ground handling and obviously MAS are loss making. So kuddos to Eddy Leong.

Next, since I was “bussed” to the ATR aircraft in Changi, I have to make sure the aerobridge charge is not included in the convoluted airfares I am paying to Firefly.

Hi guys,

Few weeks ago I've mentioned about my EP application has been rejected. The reason is because I have yet to receive a degree as I am fresh graduate and waiting for convo. As normal procedure, my school has issued me a letter of completion study and I've submit it to the company for my EP application, along with the transcripts.

However, MOM has rejected the letter of completion because it doesn't shows I've been awarded for a degree, instead it wrote "will be awarded a degree". Both MOM and my college refused to give in and insist on the issue. Anyone has faced the similar issue and what can/should I do? sad.gif icon_question.gif

When exactly will you get your degree then?
From what I know most public U students already started working in Sg even before the convo.

Just change your qualification in the application form from degree to provisional degree. Apply for the permit based on that.
