I shifted most of transactions to Alliance VI after CIMB TWE's local transactions 10x bonus points ended on 31.12.23. One thing about my Alliance VI is the limit is extremely low, I plan to increase it. Is it easy to get approved?

It was really difficult for me to get their card in the past as they requestd a lot of things and I didn't want to go through the same nightmare to be honest.

If they ask for too much that you don't want to provide, you can always say don't need to proceed.

One thing good about Alliance VI is their points is no expiry. I did a credit limit increase request last year after owning the card for almost a year. Process took about 2 weeks for approval. If payment cantik should not be any issue.

If I'm not mistaken they ask for bank statement 3 months latest and epf for two years.

they are quite stingy about credit limit compare to other oversea banks, don't put high expectation to it.

Hmm not in my case. They were quite generous in giving me credit limit. I have credit card from quite a number of banks and alliance is ranked after CIMB and Maybank in terms of my credit limit.

In your experience, does the charges via the supplementary card count/combine towards the monthly usage of the principal?

To elaborate, I ask because the optimum usage for VS is known to be RM 3k without MCC conditions, and I'm hoping to get another 3k for reasons.

almost all card benefit counts toward principal, no exception for alliance vs. either u get 2 principle VS, or join their privilege and get another privilege VS for another 3k.
