guys, wat is ur dl speed in mediafire.com or other file hosting websites? im using the maxis home fibre 10mbps bt the maximum dl speed i got frm mediafire is only 200kbps+, average at 150kbps+. called maxis to complain n they asked me to perform speedtest, the result is normal bt the dl speed is nt even up to half of the internet speed i subscribed, n they told me is the dl server problem wthhhhhhh

n these few weeks the internet speed is rather inconsistent, some websites will load vy fast while the others may take forever to load, n the dc issue is frequent. im annoyed by the fact tat i nid to restart my modem/router at least 3 times in a day, yet aft some smooth surfing, the problems came bak.

Mediafire for me quite ok. 2 simultaneous download from mediafire able to reach maximum speed.
Do u use download manager? Using download manager is faster than on browser.

Yes. The DC is quite frequent though. Sometimes just need to click disconnect and connect. Sometimes need to restart the router.

guys is there anyway we can change back to private ip? when they fix this shit only we go back to public ?

good for you... but considering you can get 150kbps for streamyx 1mbps, it is not good enough honestly

So far my friends / myself etc happy with the Maxis FTTH especially we are not gamers, only heavy downloader / live football match streaming. Not much to complain with the price we are paying.

According to Maxis forum, they are rectifying the high ping problem now and probably will be solve after 01 September. Lets wait and see.

Download via PPS on PC with mostly full speed and iPhone with 600~800kbps.

Hey there, currently I'm using Maxis Fiber Optic 10mbps with RM118 monthly payment. So far no problem in streaming and downloading big file and the speed was extremely fast. The only problem I encounter when I try to play online game and join foreign server ( Singapore server) and the ping is 200+ and higher, very lag. But when I join local server (Malaysia server), the ping 20+ like unifi. I try restart and reset modem but still facing the same problem. My friend using unifi no prolem connecting to foreign server with ping 20+, anyone can help me? Perhaps related to ip address or something?

im using firefox w/o download manager for direct download. the maximum speed i got was only 200kbps, hv u tried browser direct dl? wats the speed like?
