If i'm not mistaken, if you are out of coverage of umobile, you are only allow roaming to maxis 2g.

owh, i see.. now that explains.. I previously tot we are able to roam maxis' 3G too, haha.. hope they can sign that contract or expand their coverage =P

just check u mobile website for actual maxis 3g roaming location

not sure about taman sentosa Klang, but around Bukit Tinggi area the speed is still ok.. i didnt do any speed test tho..

btw, i notice uMobile, speedtest result is rather unreliable, but in actual usage, it's better then what it gets in speedtest

Highly possible you are connecting to Maxis tower

Specify at your dashboard manual operator and choose Umobile not Maxis

Just terminate it... Their line is getting worse... My problems still not resolved after report to SKMM and CFM... They blame me for using my Broadband in poor coverage but for 1 in the half years I use at my U Mobile Broadband, I always get excellent coverage and excellent speed... Since one month ago, their network sucks and speed so much worse... I recommend you to terminate and they will never help you resolve your problem... They will not admit it's their problem... Better think fast...

umobile now switch to use maxis line, last time partnership with celcom i think..

hey guys.. i'm newbie of u mobile.. i'm currently using U28 plan.. data will be renewed for every 1st of the month right? i remembered the staff told me that.. but until now i still haven't receive any message and yet i checked for my usage.. still haven't renew. btw i exceed the usage.. cn anyone help? thx

I am also using U28 and facing the same issue. Last few months, they will reset. They never reset this time evening in the evening of 1 Dec.

Agreed... when in KL always need to switch to HSPA manually...
When I'm home at Sg Buloh area, the speed is so excellent...
Suspect uM need to provide their bandwidth to Maxis as a return...

Today since morning until now,

my U mobile line cannot even get an E ( 2G ),

cannot switch to maxis 3G or 2G either

whole day u mobile zero internet

How come since signing with Maxis, U mobile got worse? Sigh was just thinking to switch to it.

I'm a Digi SmartPlan user and planning to change to U Mobile. Already tried their prepaid data and satisfied with it. But the plan I going to subscribe is postpaid plan.

I already going thru this thread and I can say that most user satisfied with U Mobile but what I read in U Mobile Facebook page is totally different. Something about U Mobile customer service being suck. Any problem with their postpaid plan I should aware of?

So far with Digi I had no problem with internet connection. I just fed up with Digi because you see their Ad everywhere (even in this page) but they didn't improve at all. Their Smart Plan also not so smart anymore because even other telco already offer attractive data plan, they still with RM48 for 1gb with 5kbps after past FUP.

sometimes you must understand that, ppl won't be that free to praise how good umobile is at facebook, but they are free to complain ...

I only hope that U Mobile 3G internet can launched at Sabah and Sarawak there. I'm also using U Mobile. It is good that Sarawak got UMobile3G.

But when you subscribe the U18 or U28 mobile internet plan, it is TOTALLY Different. I though the network UMobile3G, the speed like 3G High speed internet. Oppositely, the speed more lousy than Streamyx, and even DiGi..

If roam with maxis2g line, it suppose EDGE internet speed, right? (Correct me if I'm mistake~ ) But the internet speed slow until go google site also keep loading.... (EPIC Fail)

Another I still want to arrest high high problem... NO International Roaming, EXCEPT Singapore (For U Mobile prepaid user).. You only receive "Emergency Call ONLY"...

If let's say I cannot receive U Mobile network, show "Emergency call only". Can I turn on my streamyx wifi and still can receive Viber or Line Free incoming call and message?
