I still have several questions about the U Mobile. Is it the U Mobile not support for international roaming? Just double confirm it~ unsure.gif I'm using U Mobile prepaid. Usually do business between Malaysia and Brunei there.

Very DAMN I cannot receive incoming call/sms or even cannot perform outgoing call/sms when I travel to Brunei. It's just show "Emergency Call ONLY" when I travel to Brunei. mad.gif

Or is it need to activate the International Roaming? Who can help me to activate it? cry.gif

Every guys, please help me~ icon_question.gif

Thanks a lot~

I only hope that U Mobile 3G internet can launched at Sabah and Sarawak there. I'm also using U Mobile. It is good that Sarawak got UMobile3G. rclxms.gif

But when you subscribe the U18 or U28 mobile internet plan, it is TOTALLY Different. I though the network UMobile3G, the speed like 3G High speed internet. Oppositely, the speed more lousy than Streamyx, and even DiGi.. shakehead.gif

If roam with maxis2g line, it suppose EDGE internet speed, right? (Correct me if I'm mistake~ smile.gif ) But the internet speed slow until go google site also keep loading.... doh.gif (EPIC Fail)

Another I still want to arrest high high problem... NO International Roaming, EXCEPT Singapore (For U Mobile prepaid user).. You only receive "Emergency Call ONLY"... shakehead.gif

If let's say I cannot receive U Mobile network, show "Emergency call only". Can I turn on my streamyx wifi and still can receive Viber or Line Free incoming call and message? icon_question.gif

yes. Viber and Line calls/messages goes through Internet data connection. Therefore any wifi network will do fine too.

that's why need 2 numbers.
Don't understand why umobile won't give roaming. Can attract more customers right?
*
Maybe U Mobile feel tat most of the customers use very less in prepaid. Imagine customer A in his/her prepaid balance not more than RM30, there is no point U Mobile launched roaming to other country (Except Singapore), am I rite? cool2.gif

Plus U mobile focus in Malaysia and Singapore market, but very curiously why don't open roaming in Brunei and Thailand? whistling.gif It's very near Malaysia aa~ yawn.gif

It still can attract most customers, bcoz of the data plan, it is unlimited neh... Bt once kena quota, the speed will slow down. blush.gif Not like DiGi, Celcom or even Maxis, including Tune Talk and XoX XinXun, they straight away "terminate" or charge as "pay per use" once u reach the quota.. shakehead.gif

I use the U Mobile around 2 years, I'm still waiting for roaming in Brunei there. But seems like U Mobile marketing department don't do improve or launched for this roaming country, very soon I gonna to MNP to XoX XinXun. blush.gif It's very attractive MNP to XoX XinXun straight away 28 months account active. I not need every month keep top-up to stay active my account. icon_idea.gif

that MORE doesn't mean ENOUGH for the extra cost, don't think that u mobile got enough capital to do so much for now.
unsure.gif  better check clearly o, i think they still need some top up within the period one
thanks for the sharing,
just for extra information, postpaid do have roaming with just paying RM 300 as deposit cool2.gif
*
If I'm not mistake. At least u need to top up RM30 or at least make 1 outgoing call to enjoy 28 months validity. smile.gif

Hi, just want to know. I'm planning to switch from DiGi prepaid to U Mobile prepaid. But currently my DiGi prepaid account restricted~ (Meaning that cannot outgoing call n sms, but can incoming call n sms)

If I perform mnp switch from DiGi prepaid to U Mobile, is it mnp successful switch to U mobile? This is because there is no point to top up again DiGi one as the balance cannot carry forward to U Mobile.
