i've been on pending status since 3 working days. This sim card I got it from my friend, who is happen to be an agent for umobile at PG. But the status is making me frustrated. Should I just go to the main office of Umobile, and do the process again since i can see only take 1-2days for the transition. wat u guys think?

Have you receive SMS notification saying it's in progress? If not, then your request is not in the system yet..

Since the simcard issued by your fren, MNP have to refer back to the Dealer who issued it.

Hmm, feels like I'm noticing some problems, my phone doesn't pickup any phone calls when being called, like only 1 out of 10 calls can be picked up. Never had any problem before with other provider.  doh.gif

Added on November 21, 2012, 5:13 am..okay. This is not fun, I'm missing calls whole day today. No problem with internet though. Should I contact umobile for this issue?

No, I dun think its possible.

You have to ask your fren to resubmit if there is some mistake.

MNP nowadays takes less than 36hrs.

Resubmission takes less than 8hrs.

it is possible, and I just did it yday. visited the PG hq in Qbay mall around 2PM, spoken to the ppl there and resubmit my new application for MNP. Within 2hours, I got the sms stating Umobile are processing my line, and 8PM, voila. Maxis sms-ed me stating they had let me go and 8.45PM i got the umobile line activated.

All within the same day, and less than 6 hours. Personally think that its the personnel and also dependent on your bill clearance from old carrier.
