+1

I was dreaming of driving sport car, having a huge house & not need to work much & it is useless to spend hundred of thousand for a master/degree  during the secondary school.

But once out of the conform zone, thing always not as simple & dream remain as dream.

it seems that the current pay for freshgrads do not see much improvements these few years, still remain stagnant from RM2.5k-RM3.5k

meanwhile property pricing in Klang valley has skyrocketed 100% in just 2-4 years, some of you might suggest to rent first, but hell rental also raise at the same time, a 3 room apartment in KL costs rm1k++ to rent

how to achieve high income nation by year 2020

with the introduction of GST in 2015, all I can say is high crime rate before we can even see high income nation

terima kasih Najib, terima kasih BN banyak banyak

Too bad, these only hit very hard to city fellows. Those in rural area remain the same.

Standard of living keep increase, but the salary remain the same for years.

truth is i'm still a student but through my perspective working hour is also important i mean 12 hours( rest time excluded )is consider like ur boss is actually abusing u which mean 8 hours is consider a normal working hour thats what my brother told me ? == ? is he wrong /

8 hours is indeed normal.
But some jobs just cannot be done in 8 hours and/or runs everyday of the year that they need you to work for 12 hours or more.
And usually you get compensated with overtime bonus or something else.
I have to work on 12 hour shift daily. Excluding 1 hour of handover to the next person. No rest time.
I eat while doing the job and toilet breaks has to be quick so as not to miss any parameters on the job.

But of course, I knew all that before I accepted the offer. So, does not count as being abused.

Indeed I am. Also because I work without holidays/weekends for 90-120 days straight before going home.
But after overcoming the initial stages of learning, then comes the easier life..
Now I am able to get myself free couple of minutes every couple of hours just to check on FB for family and friends.

Either you came from a rich family , have damn positive friends , being naive or this is a troll account.

Since your still a student, step out to the real world and you tell us is 5 figure an easy target to achieve.
If you already hit 5 figure in your student years from business or sales, then Id say good job and continue to strive forward !

Who have you consulted in PET? To me it seems that the people you "consulted" are E3 or senior E2 people... average age is around 38 and above. These people have commitments, such as family, house, etc.

I have a lot of friends working in PET, and 4 of my close family members work in OnG... so i know something regarding OnG smile.gif

I believe the living expense you mentioned above are towards luxury lifestyle...

Come on man, age 30 with 10k salary, i dont see any difficulties here unless you own fancy sport car and stay at high residential bungalow...
Its about how we manage our money and expenses..i m sure you know that..

Don't be, Bro. I'm an expat myself and I expect my income to be slashed by 26% by tax. That hurts. sweat.gif
