at the moment my job focus on AP - payment
my company need a staff to concentrate on AP...due to huge transaction / volume
i've been doing the job for almost 4 years....kind of bored...
if u ask why not do job rotation? i looking forward for job rotation....but the culture in the company quite old fashion...more on internal matters...unable to disclose....
this new company is in logistic industry.....
which totally different nature with my current company....
i read this logistic annual report....listed company
group performance....profitable
but company performance.....losses.......
based on the info..this company got a lot of subsidiaries.....
if i choose this company.....the journey to the office will be a bit longer.....due to traffic....
the location surrounding with factories
what other point that i need to consider?
i really dont have idea....hows the working environment in that company......increment....bonus.....benefits..
i dont have friends working over there.....
i did google around about review of this company.......but very little information about working experience / comment from the staff.....
kind of gamble if i join......
the hr call me whether want to join or not? i said....interested.....currently waiting for the offer letter.....
at the moment....my heart want to move out from the current company.....
but......looking for better company that i can work with......
i dont want to join new company for short period.......it will give -ve impact....
By reading your post, I can tell that the Logistics company that has offered you is not doing very well.
And it seems you have grown tired of your current company because of your jobscope. Well, quite frankly, it would be a bad idea to go leave a company because you have grown tired of what you do. If you think that there are no more career growth for you in your current company, feel free to leave. But still, I wouldn't recommend you going to a worse company than your current one.
IMHO, I think you should stay and ask for a raise if you are doing your job well and exceed expectations. Else, stick around first, and look at a better job. Making rash decisions without thinking thoroughly will only bring more hurt than you already have.
