QUOTE(ihsan @ Oct 2 2012, 07:04 PM) if you're concern with traffic (like i do), find a job that allows you to telecommute or provide flexi check-in time. Not everyone has that option/luxury;). I have a flexi check in time, in fact my job requires me to clock in only anytime of the day, but I prefer to have kids to continue schooling here.i moved to denai alam (and shah alam) because i no longer desire to work in pj and kl. unusual but true. |

It's gonna take some time for DA to be fully developed but I guess you need to make some adjustments and sacrifices along the way.I'm based in KLIA while the missus is based in SG. However, 80% of my worktime time is spent at other airports domestically while the missus about 40% in SG. So when we move to DA, we need to arrange our time to send our kid to Tmn Tun for school every morning but I guess we have to live it until a good school springs up in DA. It just takes proper planning. I don't miss working in KLCC and sitting in jams and now Tmn Tun is getting really bad so there is actually no more idea work-home situation anymore. |

Outsiders are using it as a bypass. So we get unnecessary jams, idiots driving fast and bad roads. It is now a hazard for Pedestrians not to mention those who double and triple park near the shops not to mention in front of our houses. With high traffic also comes high littering and rubbish.Added on October 3, 2012, 12:55 pm What's wrong with Taman Tun area? Safety problem? Bad hats are also taking advantage of the multiple exits and playing cat and mouse with the cops who can't be around our houses at all times. Tmn Tun has lost its charm as a peaceful and civilised neighbourhood and it will never be the same as yesteryear. |

with a budget of 800k, i would have gone for newly launched superlinks. Aster Groove was only going for 840k with a much bigger built up.... unless you are looking for a unit for immediate stay. Just my two cents worth
QUOTE(Khangwoi @ Oct 2 2012, 02:31 PM) All the while struggling on getting fernlane (design) or verdania (build up).....but after few viewing prefer build up, so have decided to take verdania..... At first have budget concern as well....but already settle it.... Just want to find out the truth of what agent told me.....Planning to stay in this place, so just wish to know the population...... Working in PJ....but I realize the interchange in jelutong and NKVE always jam, also my wife working in sri damansara.....that's why concern when the DASH highway going to complete..... Hi guys.....i know this may not be the right place to ask....but since all of us are denai alam residents, just wanna find out about it from my dear neighbours.
For plaster ceiling, I know the contractor will charge you a small sum to cut hole for the downlight and also to install the downlight. But does it include the wiring for the downlight also, or will that be additional on top of the cut hole and install? What is the pricing for reno in denai alam area for that matter in terms of plaster ceiling? |

I dont have any info on the plaster c's pricing. But to install downlight, that is electrician's job, u have to pay for 1) wiring, 2) installation per downlight to the electrician, not the guy who is doing the plaster ceiling. This is what I know from my previous reno work (not in DA).For plaster ceiling, I know the contractor will charge you a small sum to cut hole for the downlight and also to install the downlight.
