So anyone of you guys went to the final event for the beta?

I only manage to try the classes I am interested in except thief, didn't have time for that. Didn't manage to try crafting and other stuff.

I find thief pretty interesting but hard to use for me.

ooo wut level u reached? did u try structured pvp as guardian?
hows ur survivability rate for higher levels? can heal enough to kill higher level mobs?

i structured pvp more with guardian this time.

Huh? Got THAT setting?? I didn't check out stuff in setting menu... What I hate is the JPEG-compression applied, caused too much artefacts.

you can even take stereoscopic screenshot which give you pseudo-3d

I am using GTX260 only, a few times frame drop, but most of the time it ran fine

i dont remember telling you that i will be going solo in the full game.

Tried WvWvW. Thats something interesting. Raiding supplies have been the best part for me in the whole BWE. Dynamic event has been a bit underwhelming for me, to be honest. It doesnt really chain to the next event often. Most of the time it just finish one quest and then, thats it. It is not as many as i have expected. Could be beta as i found that Asura's starting area has a lot more dynamic events than say Char or Slyvari.

If the temp server transfer thing isnt in the full game, I'll probably going solo even in the full game cause none of my real life friends are moving from D3 to GW2. Tried adding people from LYN, but none of the forumers here are on Sanctum of Rall. Cant get into Seas of Sorrow, which is a bit sad.

Havent tried crafting yet. I think all i have experienced so far are inconclusive. Not sure im buying this game at launch or not.I am total noob, when it comes to MMO, so, i think i have missed out a lot of stuff in this beta weekend.

Definitely playing Ranger or Necromancer at launch. Warrior was kinda boring, until i get those buff spells then it starts to be very interesting.

Really like the Hunger Royale event too, that was really cool. I died because i saw a pile of supplies after killing a couple of red, and when i turn back, i was surrounded by red. And some virtual fireworks at the end.

Anyone went to Ascalon Settlement area, it's a level 20+ area, I stumble into it while level below 15 lol. Didn't explore the area though, probably going to die very fast if I try.

what is ur setting?i use auto set with gtx260 but it seems like lagging,maybe my cpu bottlenecking?

41. Yes. In sPvP, if you use the right traits + shield/mace, you can basically stand on (defend) a capture point like a boss, a bit challenging if there's 4v1. That will buy enough time for your teammates to back u up.
As for PvE, GS can kill mobs real fast. (If you have Precision and Power stacked, even faster). Can take 2-3 higher lvl mobs(and veteran) if u switch between shield/mace and other weapons. You have to time your block right and keep symbol of faith up.




They even have 3D screenshot in previous BWE. But not in this BWE3 build, i believe it will be back @ launch.

Only preordered the boxset Too lazy to download the client

using custom setting, some set to high some set to medium. my CPU is i5 though if that helps.

for thief i went the glass cannon route and its so freaking fun...
only problem is that u cant really go in and deal finishing blow to ur opponent without losing half or more of ur life...
basically it is hiding in the shadows, opening up on a single target and reposition urself from the next...
very different from the other prof imho (i played all of them in PvP)...

i still find Mesmer the hardest to master as you need to play really differently...
and playing against mesmer is soo annoying especially good ones or when they are not alone...
the pistol skill 4 of mesmer really offload a truckload of damage...

guardian is still my comfort profession and ppl QQ about the low life too much as it has the highest survival rate of all the prof i had played...
the reactive cooldowns for it is just insane especially when u put in tome of courage in the elite...

the question now is which to play for release lolx...
can't decide between guardian or ranger (the others are all taken by my frens/ guildmates)
