Kinda sad the GW2 is not distributed in Msia anymore like GW, kinda wanted to get the CE, I bought CE for both Faction and Nightfall.

Once I went wide, i can't go back to normal 5:4 monitor, be it gaming or movies, wide is the best for me
Hahaha just want to use those 3 days to properly learn the game since I didn't really play much during beta or the stress test. I am still a bit confused on how certain things works and didn't really get to experience the engineer class as much as I would like. |

Yup read it including all the other posts in the thread, I do have a good idea on how GW2 works, now I just want to properly experience it myself. Previous BWE and stress test was quite rush so hopefully the next BWE I'll have more time to properly try things out.
I am liking the game so far, it's so different from GW but it's good. I like it that Anet is willing to change things instead of just following the same formula. |

From what I read you still get stuff that makes it worthwhile to play with friends who are in low level, but for me, the best is it's possible to play with friends at low level instead of needing them to grind all the way to your level or for you to create new low level char. Keyword is playing with friends no matter what level you are

This is sad, check with GW 2 support, they said can only link one serial code to GW2 account. I was planing to get the GW 2 CE and also keep the digital edition that I have already bought, but now it seems I won't be able to use the CE key on the same account

Local sellers seems to be getting UK copies only, but we'll need US copies to be able to play it here. I am trying my luck getting the CE from Qisahn, they do sell the standard edition as well. I have got confirmation from GW2 support that they will make it possible to add on CE keys on standard GW2 account.

I think the concern is whether we'll be able to login to GW2 from Malaysia if we are using EU code, US seems to work based on the beta, and purchasing directly from GW2 website with a Malaysia address we are automatically given a US GW2 code.

QUOTE(KromickoN @ Jul 13 2012, 01:03 AM) Aiks i just edited it but read this again: So that would mean that you guild members login to GW2 using EU code from Malaysia. I guess the code will only sort you to the either the US or EU datacenter but does not lock where you can login from.but we warned, from what i heard is, if u buy the game from EU u are logged into EU data center, and vice versa for US. So if you join a US server from a EU datacenter, it might be laggy. and the same for US. they wont restrict you from playing what server u want, but which ever region product u bought. you are fixed to log on to that datacenter before you connect to the world servers. Its like a gateway in other words. and no, they didnt use any ip thing to register. |

Actually this is what they said on their fb page
QUOTE Here are some answers and clarifications for you! First, if you purchase the game from https://buy.guildwars2.com/ you'll automatically be sorted into the right region. And don't worry -- we want you to play with your friends wherever you are. This policy only affects where you can login from -- not which worlds you can access. People from NA will be able to play with people from EU at launch. We've got two datacenters -- one in NA and one in EU. Those who do not fall into either of those two regions will default to the NA datacenter. Finally, we are aware that a lot of our players travel, and we are looking into a solution for you. Hope that helps some! ~RB2 I guess the statement itself is not very clear hence the confusion. |

QUOTE(Defallen @ Jul 13 2012, 01:55 AM) To be honest, that site does look like a scam. Look at step 3 - You have to enter the key in a non-official registration site (Official site should be https://register.guildwars2.com) and enter your current account (GW1) info if you got one. They just load https://register.guildwars2.com into an inframe, doesn't seems to be any hanky panky going on. My friend did manage to register the key and download the client.Edit: Step 3 This post has been edited by valho: Jul 13 2012, 09:18 AM |

If you are getting from Qisahn make sure you mention which version you want, US or UK, because they might bring in both.

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Jul 13 2012, 09:21 PM) Yeah they have a thread in garage sales. I did ask them about the CE, and they said they will try to bring them both, I am not sure which version they will bring for the standard edition though.Anyway they have a website http://qisahn.com/, you can ask them about it |

Once the purchase go through the page will have the key and they will send the key to your email as well. You can straight away make a GW2 account and enter the key right after you bought it.Shall I choose Malaysia? and Georgetown (lived in Penang). Using paypal How to get the key after purchase? |
