If 5.2ghz at 61'c full load... I wil be very happy!! Lol

Btw i still suspect the temp report error.
Once touch 100'c, the proc itself will lower down the speed to saver speed.

5.4ghz boot to windows need 1.56v vcore. But not stable. Still tweak it. Lol

Shepard:-

Im using chapalang ram, so nth more i can tweak jor. Tdp already set to 150.

5.4GHz is interesting

My mobo, the TJmax is locked to 105C only.
Although the BIOS & AI suite are set both to 130C max it won't override the 105C.
so best i could stress my 3570K is up to 4.6GHz only as the max temp hit 103C.
4.7-4.8GHz can play with some short tests only. Definitely not IBT/LinX or prime95 AVX. biggrin.gif

PS: once you have finished playing with your 3770K & feel bored with it you should know whom to find. drool.gif

What could that be? The link below blows away the possibility of bad contact & TIM paste rumours.

i7-3770k tested with IHS removed. Results?
QUOTE
The results? No difference, IHS removal did not help. High temps are caused by the tightly packed cores.

make sure to grab the 3770K + watercooling for better OC.
3570K is hard to get 5GHz unless you're the among the luckiest guys

Almost done with our LDPV V4 bench table. Didn't have enough tube to complete the loop. Once it is ready we'd see what IB can do on our setup biggrin.gif

Can't wait to see your V4 in action.
Dimastech paint job is really poor, the flexfan stand is so fragile. And i've broken one of the case feet sad.gif

If the dimastech is epoxy powder coated it should be very hardy. Perhaps it was the smooth powder coating wHich is not so reliable.

Hard epoxy type. It is durable to scratches but there are a few spots the paint is applied too much causing uneven coating. Worst thing is it's at the front panel sad.gif

Dimastech paint job is garbage compared to LDPC. There are also some sharp edges here and there.

here the belakang rumah paint shops use robot for spraying then they go for baking at 200C.
If belakang rumah comes out even coat then Dimastech must be really shit quality.

Well had a quick test of my new retail CPU Sunday - only had about 25lts of LN2 and very hot - so my session only lasted an hour or so before everything was soaked and LN2 was running low.

These Ivy Bridge CPU's certainly run very hot which may limit their appeal for air and water benchers - but if you have something colder - well they just fly thumbup.gif

My CPU seems to be somewhere at the lower end of achievements for retails seen to date - benching 6300+ for Pifast, Super Pi, and Maxxmem with no real issues. No way my board was going to run this cpu any higher though, 6350 was maximum regardless of volts used. Will try another board this coming weekend and see if this is definitely the cpu limit or not smile.gif

Memory used is Team Xtreme 2600 Kit 10-12-12-31 2T - not maxed out just focused on CPU max to start brows.gif

Heres a few pics - no real tweaks, just a light os install

Someone order some bandwidth??
