QUOTE(flyingfox @ Apr 24 2012, 03:15 PM) Now I have 2 options, 1st is buy a new set of LP Ram and get D14 and 2nd is buy Corsair H100. Both about the same price RM500++, which 1 is better ? I read somewhere on the internet about the H100, he get worse result than a Hyper 212, so strange. RM500, rasa kit will give u better result

Which shop in lowyat can i get ? EDIT: I'm using 650W PSU btw, is it sufficient to use a watercooling kit or D14 ? they are similar in general. So far my maintenance = upgrade. lolx.

QUOTE(alexei @ Jun 16 2012, 04:33 AM) Good job. One suggestion: Instead of reusing the original metal heat spreader, try look for a piece of aluminium or copper block about the same thickness as the heat spreader, to pad it before attaching the HSF. Reason because there is a gap between die and heat spreader, and thermal compound not good to transfer heat at that gapping distance. Thermal compound is good for direct contact only. I'm just saying there is room for improvement. One reason why Tj is hotter compared to hand touch on HSF, because it takes a long time for the Tj to reach heatsink. Thermal gradient is still very high. Heat transfer seems to be very bad, still. What I have done, is fill up the internal of heatspreader with oil instead. A bit messy, but definitely improves the heat transfer.

QUOTE(codenamew @ Aug 30 2012, 03:05 PM) anyway,do any of u have idea how far my RAM can oc? using vengeance LP 1333mhz CL9. if i want to upgrade from that ram, which speed should i opt for? 1600mhz oc'ing ram is not for long run. If u are running simulation or game 24/7, better stay with stock speed. most of the bsod is by ram. This post has been edited by Dennos: Aug 30 2012, 03:35 PM
