Will try another board this coming weekend and see if this is definitely the cpu limit or not  Memory used is Team Xtreme 2600 Kit 10-12-12-31 2T - not maxed out just focused on CPU max to start  Heres a few pics - no real tweaks, just a light os install Someone order some bandwidth?? Nice runs bob. Nice to see you here again. yeah IB will only shine on subzero. 5GHz on air with IB as rumoured long time ago is not possible anymore unless if we live in Arctic.  |

I wonder if 3570K will run @ 4.5Ghz with decent temp on a CM Hyper 212 Evo.  Seeing people with water-cooling also facing a hard time keeping the temperature low. |

Intel has probably fine-tuned the HT in IB. It runs at lower voltage with HT on.
