1)A43Sm-VX102v, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT630M@RM2099[2.4kg], 2GB, 500GB (5400rpm)
2)A43Sm-VX002v, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT630M (2GB)@RM2499[2.4kg]v, 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm)

I don't know which one to choose between these two. I want 4GB ram but i think 500gb HDD is enough. Have to add 400 to get the second one. Worth it? If add 2gb ram only rm 50.

What's the screen resolutions for all the N53's?

The Acer 5830TG is only less powerful in terms of processing power but makes up with a longer battery life.

The N53's should have a higher resolution screen with better performance and sound system.

Bought myself at last at KLCC PC Fair.
After looking at Lonovo E125 (hate it so much due to the nipple mouse), MSI U180 (freeDOS), Toshiba Netbook with Harman/Kardon and Hp dm1, i decided to buy the HP dm1 (E450/2GB) which has 500gb hdd including win7hb 64bit at rm1190 (price by HP next door was is rm1399) plus free laptop bag, plus rm30 Jusco voucher, plus RM10 Starbuck card and a trip to Beijing (hehe). Planning to see/feel Asus 1215B but got no stock and spec only has Win7Starter and bigger screen. Nevertheless still happy with my purchase. If kong in 7 days, got 1-to-1 exchange. So far so good. Now can start to do my loads of paperworks. Tq to TJ

Since lappy is still on low resolution, I don't see any point getting 2GB VRAM.
Simply because the GPU doesn't need so much or unable to utilize.

If you are a heavy gamer (on tight budget), the APU (A8) platform is fine.
But don't expect it to run well when the games don't have support for CFX.

When is Ivy Bridge laptops coming out? End of April?
