1)A43Sm-VX102v, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT630M@RM2099[2.4kg], 2GB, 500GB (5400rpm)
2)A43Sm-VX002v, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT630M (2GB)@RM2499[2.4kg]v, 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm)

I don't know which one to choose between these two. I want 4GB ram but i think 500gb HDD is enough. Have to add 400 to get the second one. Worth it? If add 2gb ram only rm 50.

I'm undecided to choose between a 14 inches or 15.6 inches laptop. Hmm...no idea.. I like to bring my laptop around(to wifi places). Really dont know if i should opt for 15.6 inches laptop. Sure gaming better with a bigger screen.

And i would like to ask. Why people don't like HP anymore? In the past it was the best computer brand. I think they had a lot issues with the laptop(heat issue etc). am i right?

If given 3k rm. Should i opt for HP dv6, or acer v3 or asus N55Sl?

Should i get laptop with 1600x900 reso or just 1366x768? for 15.6 inches monitor.

Yeah, i3 and i5's most noticeable difference is the Intel Turboboost technology nod.gif
Both are dual-cored

As for i7, it depends on the model:
Certain i7 are dual-cored i.e. i7-2620M
whereas most are quad-cored i.e. i7-2630QM

Owh. So when there's Q its a quad core processor. Would it make a huge difference when gaming when compared to dual-core i5? TQ.

Hi [PF] T.J.

I remember u saying that 14 inches laptop monitor consume less power than 15.6 inches laptop monitor. So the battery of the 14 inches laptop monitor will last longer. Right? Is there a huge difference the two laptops in terms of power consumption?

i5-3317U is the successor of i5-2467M is that right? these two are also ULV processors right?

So if these ULV procs(i5-3317U(1.7 ghz) and i5-2467M(1.6ghz)) to be compared to normal IB mobile proc(i5-2450M(2.5ghz) and i5-3210M(2.5ghz)) is there a huge difference in terms of performance?

tq

Something i wonder. Actually normal size/weight laptops are not heavy le.......and they are meant to be brought around le. A 14 inches laptop weight from 2 - 2.5kg not heavy at all le. But nowadays, come out with ultrabook(super light weight)(around 1.5KG) so people choose UB, but at the moment the price is really expensive. It's so damn thin, I wonder how the parts are accomodated into it. cooling system how le? lol
