QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Apr 23 2012, 08:01 PM)
That's a subjective question laugh.gif
It depends on the specification of the M14x, and of course, the usage..
Based on NBC's review: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Alienw...ok.54257.0.html

The M14x (i7-2630QM) was capable of lasting 4.5hours with Wifi on, medium brightness and web surfing
*
how about dis spec

Intel Core i7-2670QM processor(2.2GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.1GHz,6MB Cache)
500GB 7200RPM Hard Drive or 750gb
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM(2x4GB)
3.0GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M

consider wireless off (using cable internet), medium brightness(probably just turn on Balanced power plan)
- run programming n circuit design software (C++, PICC, PROTEUS, MULTISIM) usually 2 or 3 at the same time
