Depends. Can't answer you yet on that smile.gif
Unless you are looking at Acer M3, none of the currently ultrabook carry enough power to play such game.
640m Fermi architecture.

Thanks for sharing bro!!  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
Damn! So the backlit keyboard is really true... I thought it was typo before this haha~~
Well, even if its LE its still a slight improvement over the previous one  thumbup.gif

Quoted from the link:
"The new Intel Core i7 Ivy Bridge processor is a nice improvement, offering around a 20% performance boost of similar previous generation Intel processorsThe Nvidia 640M LE graphics card is similar in performance to the AMD 7690M, but once Lenovo starts rolling about more configurations of the Y480 there should be more powerful options available, such as the Nvidia 650M.  Even with all that power packed into a small 14” chassis the heat and noise were a non-issue, Lenovo engineers should be commended for developing a cooling system that works well."

How long would it take for Lenovo to ship the Y480 with Nvidia 650M?

Hi, I'm looking for a new laptop. Can anyone recommend me?

1. Preferred Brand - Any brand is okay
2. Budget - Below RM4k
3. Usage - More towards multimedia like song recording, image and video editing, audio encoding. Not much of a gamer.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size - 14 - 15"
5. Additional remarks - Would prefer something that is durable, going to last at least 3-4 years. Prefer low power consumption and no heat issue. Thanks

I'm not sure how much a Macbook Pro is..
But if it is under your budget, you should consider it.

Wow, for that laptop RM3,999 is a steal!

The Clevo W150ER
Core i7-3610qm
GT 650M

That is already priced at $1,300 AUD which is about RM4,060.
GTX660M > GT650M yes?

    17"

I've been looking around and some caught my attention (overall of spec+design+price): ASUS G74SX and MSI GT70/GT60 (is the extra 2" worth the price?). Alienware has cool design+build, but spec+price point is not competitive.

I've also heard about Sager and its customizability + bang-for-buck value. Thoughts?

Not sure the market price for this in Malaysia. But it fits your requirements.

Try looking for this one:
14"
Lenovo Y480, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT640M LE(Fermi)@2999[JBL], backlit keyboard
Some people are selling at RM2.5k in Garage Sales nod.gif

Hm, Lenovo is releasing the Y480 with 640M (Kepler) apparently.
Will Malaysia sell this anytime soon? hmm.gif
