Actually taking AA got not much OBVIOUS effects. I take them post and pre workout and also after my last meal of the day, some time before sleep. If I take my pre workout supplement (Hyper FX) I will not take it.
For the first few months I take it with my HB, I felt there is a good recovery on the next day. I do Mon-Wed-Fri and power lifting routine last time. Recovery was good. IDK whether its the Protein or the AA.
Now, I take AA too but IDK whether the effect still there because I'm doing another routine now. I haven't stop using AA since I got it. Hope it help.

Man I've got all kinds of GOODS about this protein. I used a 5lbs of Nitrotech before I get HB and Nitrotech is as good as garbage. I take Nitrotech in the early days just when I start lifting and the recovery is sh*t. Sorry for being harsh but thats for me. Some said it was good, but to me its a total waste of money. And I got it at GNC which is VERY expensive.
Then someone intro me Hydrobuilder. I give it a try and I was amazed. I've been using it for half a year and it still work in term of recovery and building me muscle. IDK whether its my routine but all my lifting stats either maintained or increase (I got a lowerback injury few months ago and I stopped heavy lifting). After 2 months I hit the bench and deadlifting again and still I get my 80% of my 1RM.
In term of recovery its very effective because I do powerlifting back to when I just started using it and really the next workout session I can hit heavier and heavier and not stopping until I got a lower back injury..
In term of muscle building, OK LAH, at least a 7/10 because I got around 18-22 bf %. Only my arms, shoulder and thigh show less bf and lean muscle. I NEVER (or leasssssstttttt) do my biceps and triceps. I only do Squat, Rows, Deadlift, Overhead and Bench press before my injury.
My humble review.
*Heavy is very personal here because its relative to my 1RM. So please don't flame me, I'm still OTW to improving =)
