I'm a student too but I get to eat 6-7 times a day. Tell me why you can't? I'm doing double degree some more and you're still studying for spm. If you have the money, go for nitro tech if that's what you're asking.

i just meet a fitness staff and they tole me Champion Super Heavyweight Gainer and Champion Mass
is a very high quality Mass Gainer
other brands like serious mass, muscle juice, super weight gainer is consider very low low quality Mass Gainer
which can said as cheap
i dont want fooled, so i come here, open this topic and just discuss about this topic
is Champion Super Heavyweight Gainer and Champion Mass really the high quality Mass Gainer?
or they just want to sell all of their product and told me so

do you asked him what does he mean by HIGH QUALITY? There must be something to be compared in order to be labelled as HIGH QUALITY mass gainers or not.

OR...
That is the only Mass Gainers that he is selling and he wanted you to buy them from him. Who knows.

darklight, I wouldn't say ALL mass gainers are worth nothing. Its true that if you can eat natural food, it's a lot better but mass gainers have been somewhat of a big help to me though. Every night at the end of the day when I find that I didn't manage to hit my calories due to some reason (no time etc), I'll just down one shake so that I have a calorie surplus.

I don't do this all the time though, ONLY when I can't get enough food into my stomach at the end of the day.

u do know most of the calories of the weight gainers come from sugar, fat (saturated or not), carbs and very little from protein rite? why not make ur prebed meal as oat+protein shake or peanut butter/tuna sandwich? unless ur metabolism rate is off the roof, u will soon gain fat and more fat. unless this is your definition of bulking.

Yes, I am aware of that. I chose Dymatize cause it has contains only 600 calories yet high in protein (52grms) and is low with sugar. Less than 3grms per serving I think.

My definition of bulking is having a calorie surplus with good clean food. I could (safely) say that the protein shake is my last resort at the end of the day.

fair enough if u know ur stuff.
do note sometimes the quality of ingredients used in mass gainers are not top notch. after all, calories are their main selling point. they can use the shittiest ingredients for carbs, proteins and others. thus, the price is way cheaper.

They are cheap as chips and easy to make, just add water.

So they can be useful if you have high metabolism and busy lifestyles.

Mass gainers have their place if you know what you're doing. Personally, I've made gains using them because of the extra calories on top of my regular diet (which at the time wasn't enough).

Hey guys, a quick question about pre-workout supps.

Question is will my mind get used to the supplement's energy boost, and if I stop using it, will I feel lethargic? I guess it's natural and obvious that you'll feel physically lethargic/less energetic once you go off it, but then will a mental dependency be there?

Anyone with insight or experience on this?

It's like coffee. You get used to it, effect wears off and you have to go on a higher doze. You go off it, you go into withdrawal but you'll eventually go back to normal.
