QUOTE(VaLeNrUdOn @ Aug 23 2012, 11:01 AM) dunno about your elbows... running/jog Force of impact on pavement is higher compared to run/jog on a treadmill, but for your knees i think it hurts when u run outside because of the force you use to push yourself forward..when you're in the gym on the treadmill...u don't need that force as much if not at all..the conveyer pulls your leg back for you.. try lowering your body by bending ur knees a little bit more when u run on the road...that will prolly help involve more hamstring work just my 2 cents.... for beginner treadmill is good option due to the low impact force by 15%-25% vs pavement. or what you can do run on Padang bola is good for the knees also. other tips, try to maintain good running/jog posture plus good heel to toes.. most people land on their toes or flat footed while runnig..... |

>>>The finding - what do you expect?
Before giving their main finding away, take a moment to guess what they would have found...If you are anything like me, and have read the substantial amount on the internet and in books about how it's "better" (there's that word again) to land on your forefoot, then of course, your expectation might be that they found: The majority of runners land on the forefoot Those that DO NOT land on the forefoot are the runners who finish towards the back of the field Well, if that's what you thought, you'd be completely incorrect...! Because the finding is the following: The vast majority (75%) of the elite runners land on the heel About 1 in four (24%) runners landed on the mid-foot Only 4 out of 283 runners landed on the forefoot further reading can be done here http://www.sportsscientists.com/2008/04/ru...footstrike.html and please take note, wearing shoes and without wearing one, require totally different running technique. heel to toes technique should be done in fluid motion, and when you land it should in between your heel and mid of your foot progressively moving towards your toes to spring you forward. just my 2cent. im agree to disagree. |

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Aug 30 2012, 11:41 PM) if u have the money to buy the word 'platinum', go ahead. its a protein blend that pack together with a creatine plus betaine, othewise, normal protein works just as well. it's all marketing gimmick. that are the reason y it is a bit expansive to other due to the extra stuff that it have imside. I've tried this betaine stuff it does increase my metabolic rate. and muscle feel pump even not doing any exercise on my rest day.>>> What is Betaine? Betaine is a naturally occurring chemical found in the stomach that helps in breaking up fats and proteins. It is a metabolite of choline, and is also known as trimethylglycine. Foods that are high in betaine content include sugar beets, spinach, shellfish and wheat. Betaine is important for the proper function of the heart and blood vessels. Benefits of Betaine Betaine is beneficial for a number of conditions and diseases, including heart disease and liver disease. This chemical also helps prevent build up of the amino acid homocysteine, which can harm blood vessels and contribute to stroke. Betaine also benefits weight loss, because of its effect on metabolism. It helps to preserve muscle tissue during weight loss, because it is an osmolyte and methyl donor. What this means is that it is beneficial for maintaining cell hydration and volume, as well as fluid balance. Betaine Weight Loss Betaine's role in weight loss is more of a preservation of muscle tissue. Many people lose muscle tone and develop flab when on a weight loss diet. Betaine is involved in biochemical reactions in the body, and it helps in detoxifying. It also helps generate creatine and other important muscle building compounds. Betaine Supplement The daily addition of a betaine supplement is beneficial for people who are prone to heart or liver disease. Because of the role it plays in preventing the build up of homocysteine, betaine is recommended for anyone with cardiovascular problems such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure. The use of a betaine supplement is particularly important for weight loss. This compound helps in retaining muscle tone while detoxifying the body by flushing out the fat cells. |

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Sep 3 2012, 09:00 PM) Protein is protein. what u say is true. is all depend on one's wallet.NT is expensive because of the addition of creatine as well. If u want creatine, buy it separately. they add for u and probably charge additional cost much more than separate creatine would cost u. Gaspari has added probiotic into their new myofusion. Good? Yea. Necessary? No. More is not always better. there nothing wrong in trying right. |

Hydrobuilder is a superb product,
A blend protein consist of WPI,WPC,casein and Hydrolyzed. On top of that it have creatine and added betaine, if you did some research about betaine you will know that it will help in your lift and recovery. added quality stuff that make the product bit pricey. I get mine from Fitlion.com |
