Nope. They took tat feature out along with the extendable sun visor. Instead they add in rain sensor wiper which I think useless to me

they are replacing useless features by taking out necessary features

Another way to say it. I'm not sold for extra jingles and whistle. And I hate having broken feature even if I rarely use it. So if something broken I prefer to have it fixed. So it's a point of consideration for myself. I'm not saying other car have more problem or elantra have less problem. Like i say its my own point of view. Some more I don't think I will change another car anytime soon after this. So have to think very hard.

Yes I have it as well. Dealers don't have it yet. My SA direct frm SD gave. Yup red elantra cover. The brochure also quoted that you can "manual fold the side mirror"

Just test drive Elantra 1.6 and 1.8A on saturday. Feel that 1.6 is under power compare to 1.8 model.

My demand is more to fuel effeciency.

Compare to forte which use 7.5 litre for 100 km (2.0) and 7 litre for 100 km (1.6) model...elantra give more kilometer.

For elantra (1.8), it maybe use 5.8 liter for 100 km. (I calculate for using US 40mpg) That means a lots to me since the election is near by....

using the average mpg given.. that is just purely specs to attract attention... u know i know every1 driving style is different.. road condition is different...

yeahh.. kinda agree with you guys there.. i would happily trade the rain sensor and sunroof for more airbags and ECM as for the side mirrors, my trusty wira 1.5gl does not have it either and i think i got used to closing it whenever i get down from the car.. so its not too biggie for me.. but the ECM would really help during night driving.. well, just some opinion from this uncle..
