Went for test drive yesterday. Both 1.6 & 1.8 too.

Stil the price come into my mind 1st place whether the car worth it or not with the features.

U know what, Lame Darby oredy came out a memo saying the they will review the price again, not lower but higher! Claiming that IF the response is good on these few days. I read the official memo given by SA.

So what u all guys think? If this is so true, Lame Darby is really really a greedy company that don't really care about the market needs right now, value for money!

Given how long it took them to react to the demand for the Elantra here, I doubt they are even listening to us  sweat.gif

It they are listening to us, they won't wanna increase the price as written in memo.. mad.gif

Sonata, Tucson, SantaFe and Starex can get discount on different batched?
*
According to conversation wit SA yestreday, Lame Darby not giving any discount for these models in their history, only price hike due to high demand.

Can anyone confirm this?

GS still in the 6AT era behind the Germans and Infiniti:P
You like wood trim? Altis material is kinda mixbag for me coz the upper dash is nice but those plasticky fake wood are quite nasty and the door handle like a stick only feel fragile. sweat.gif

because toyota want some half elegant looks (wood) + half futuristic (black colour dash + tech) + half uncle feel (cream colour). This is their target...ALL.... LOL!!!

a curious question : since i haven't saw the 1.6StandardSpec yet, does the front grill (chrome) differ from the 1.6HighSpec?

HS and SS diff 5000, is it worth?

apart from the VSM braking system, what are the other differences? saw many brochures.. all give partial comparisons only. if 5k only for supervision cluster, leather steering, VSM, then i think the 5000 can do so much more for ICE in the workshops outside.

anyone can enlighten?  hmm.gif

Imho, I think better buy HS, 5k different by installment (unless cash buying) won't able to see different. The main feature different are the vsm & esp, its safety features that may help most of us... Unless drive like hell, then the best safety feature oso no use.
I did ask sa b4 the chrome is only applicable to 1.8.... Haizzz
