by the way 1600 bookings , loan approval rate is down across all dealers and models.
with new BNM rules a lot more difficult to qualify for loan based on 1/3 of NETT Income not Gross like the old days.

Already My SA mention got people being rejected by PBB and MBB

People are expecting the price to be similar with Forte. Many people still feel that Korean cars are not yet up to the standard to be a direct competitor with Japs so they need to be cheap. tongue.gif

im not expecting similiar to forte roughly i feel its overpriced by about 7k OTR for all models. 7k might not be much for some people but in todays economy every cent counts , i dont care how much you make.

If Forte can do it, why cant Hyundai?
Furthermore with so many gadgets and features.

Does it mean than Forte is making a loss and Hyundai is just getting by?
Why is Elantra priced much higher than Forte? If so what justifications?
Both are of the same segment what.

Simply saying Elantra is not of the same class as Forte is really nonsense and lame excuse.

Dont bash me yah.....

IMHO, Elantra 1.6HS should be priced < RM90K, a slightly above Forte 1.6SX is acceptable.

Yes i wont get excited by bookings. Many of these 1,600 ppl might get rejected cuz many of them dont even know about the new rulings. By the way, its not just based on 1/3 income. You gotta deduct your other loans, credit card hutang, etc from that nett income and then 1/3 that amount.

i guess im the one of the few that thinks that forte should actually belong to b-segment lol (yada yada personal opinion). if you put forte and elantra side by side, it looks like a blinged chihuahua beside a 'majestic' tigress.

well the new forte will be based on the current elantra MD platform "abang adik ma" so if you are patient enough but all depends on naza we might be able to get new forte 1 year after korea launch
