QUOTE(caddilac @ Apr 2 2012, 03:45 PM) But still it does represent something. If it is useless then no point having the so called official fuel consumption. it is in average.. its just a point to tell u that.. this car can move this distance at this amount of fuel.. so when ppl uses this reading to compare with their daily drive.. then they start to complain.. then what..? the car is faulthy..? its just a guideline on how much this car can get.. accurate reading is depend on ur own calculation.. then that is called personal accurate reading.. and that is why i say it is subjective.. if u watch many car reviews in youtube.. most of them will say the given mpg reading and their driving reading does not = the reading stated by their official manufacturer.. QUOTE(caddilac @ Apr 2 2012, 03:50 PM) But the whole point of having official fuel consumption is not for you to compare the figure with your actual fuel consumption. It is to allow consumers to compare with other cars before making their buying decision. i dont get the point of trying to bring this topic into discussion.. what i wan to say is FC is subjective.. if u don gt the point.. then u go argue with other people..
