What are your insights on dry boxes?

I have been a small one for about 3years now.  since last year I saw that RH% is always close to 55%. Does these things need servicing or maintenance?  Its analog meter. I wonder how accurate is it.. Hmm..

needs to be calibrated once a year, esp if you keep at the lower end, i think you need to get a digital meter and compare it, if your analog once has an adjustable screw, just get it calibrated with the digital one, other than that, google is your friend

That flash is relatively new. I don't foresee a replacement any time soon. Just get one biggrin.gif

28mm 1.8G price released...USD900.
so looks like for somewhere around RM4.5k can get a nice somewhat poorman ultimate trinity with the 50mm and 85mm 1.8Gs.

The sound very loud? My 35mm also have sound while focusing, but only audible under super silent environment, the vr on my 55-300mm got a soft tick sound when pressing half way down the shutter

When i'm on live view recording under silent environment it can capture the focusing sound like metal twisting :sewat:

the 28mm 1.8G MSRP in US is $700 not $900.
should expect it to be around RM2-2.4 in malaysia

Hi All,
what do u all think?
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

it is dust or oil spot? i get this from my D7000.
i raise this problem to nikon malaysia n they feedback me is a dust. i try to use a blower to blow it but it did not help at all.
They say going to charge me 60+ for the cleaning.

since the camera will be send in to nikon, what else i can ask them to check for me since the camera still in warranty.
