Paypal cant use Amex to pay for Malaysian/RM merchants.
You can only subscribe for Auto Debit or Pay-by-Phone.

Can, but only max RM50 for both card coz its sharing credit.

Unless u can somehow get the card individually (not credit sharing), eg using wife name.

Just curious,
Comparing Maybankard2 Master and Visa, which one is better choice? In the Maybank advertisement it show Maybankard 2 as Maybankard 2 AMEX & Mastercard.

Both look the same, they are widely accepted and most of the places accept both. I changed from MasterCard to VISA and created a lot of hassles. I didn't want another MasterCard when I already have it with CIMB Direct Access.

Isn't the MasterCard has more promotion compare to Visa(in Malaysia)?
Out of curiousity, how easy/hard to switch between the Visa/MasterCard? hmm.gif

Yes, I feel that MasterCard has more promotions compared to VISA. hmm.gif
Er, though I asked them to change to VISA for me, yet they still sent me the MasterCard, so they had to resend again but sent to my hometown rather than office... doh.gif I told them gazillion times to get all my cards sent to office yet they didn't follow my instruction.
So that's it, 2 weeks of ding dong for MasterCard and VISA issue.

The following outlet is stated as one of On-The-Spot Redemption Outlets but the staff manning the outlet said it does not provide such service anymore. Fust Fyi.

Maybank AEON Melaka Credit Shop
AEON Bandaraya Melaka Shopping Center, Lot G-13 Ground Floor, No 2 Jalan Lagenda, Taman I-Lagenda, Malacca

You serious? You mean Maybank AEON Malacca no longer with On-The-Spot Redemption?

I used to go there redeem my Jusco voucher, no queue.
*
OK, remember I posted about this matter? I was very dissatisfied and was sceptical because the staff manning the counter was rushing and to say no longer provide such service seemed convenient. At the same day, I wrote to Maybank to verify this matter and manage to get confirmation today (which came from the head of operations) that the Outlet still provide the service. Others might say this is a small thing but I dont like to be deceived blatantly.

If i want to apply for maybank "Maybankard 2 Gold Card", the documents that i need to bring are as followings?

"If you are salaried employee:
Copy of NRIC (both sides) or Passport
Latest 3 months' salary slips
Latest 6 months' savings account activity/current account statements"

I know the meaning for the ic and salary slips.. But can anyone explain to me latest 6 months savings account activity/current account statements? I got maybank savings account but i am not sure what it means by that.

By the way, maybank at KLCC will be available to apply for credit card during weekend, right?

A very small receipt statement that prints out only your last 6 or 8 transactions.
